hey, nice albums! ...have a question and a pic....
where did they put out the window-boxed cars? saw them in yer album...where these from a different country or a promotion or what?
here's an interesting pic... saw this and bought it from a guy from Sweden...thought it might be some long lost prototype or "Europe only" thing.. shipping wasn't that much, so I got iy ...upon closer inspection, looks like the chrome 1977 version without redlines that someone painted..but man, they sure did a good job (at least before it got all scratched up), rivets intact and not a drop of white paint on windows, wheels or base! makes a nice conversation peice...

I picked the Boxed cars up in Italy when I was there in 2000. Went into a store about 4 or 5 times and everytime he would bring older and older stuff out. I wish I had known enough Italian to get him to let go into his storage room. These are from 89-90

The Tom "Mongoose" McEwing picture inspired me to show this one from my collection. Notice the Tampo Difference? It has White in place of Red.
