Original Enterprise, A & D (chrome plated)



AMT/Ertyl kit#S952 circa 1968 Klingon Battle Cruiser. Box is worn but in
good condition. A few pieces were assembled then
disassembled sometime in the past. The rest of
parts are still on the sprue. Instructions and a
flyer advertising Star Trek Memorabilia are there
but slightly "moth eaten"for lack of a better word.
All parts are there but the decals are missing.
To me, It's just a model I've had for a long time
but if your a collector, you might want to see what
you have to trade. I don't know what the dollar
value is other than what I see on E-Bay but I alway's
thought they were too high anyway. I figured I'd get
bites on this one being from 1968 so I'll be putting
it on E-Bay pretty soon.

in selling anything outright. I am a builder. Thats why I'm trying to find kits to build that I was never able to find in the hobby shops. I hope I don't insult anyone out there but I am (Somewhat) strictly interested in models so if you have any of the seven kits mentioned
above or maybe something "off the beaten path" like some of the vac-formed e-mail me at stargaze@pulsenet.com. I am not framiliar with these so any info you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I am going to be doing some azteking pretty soon so maybe someone out there has stencils or related items to trade. let me know. I may be interested.

I apologize in advance for not wanting to sell items out right but I love to build!!! I can't help it.

I would be willing to trade for these two items. I have the Next Generation Klingon Cruiser and also the Bird of Prey (not the 27 Incher). Neither one has boxes as I usually take mine out of the boxes to conserve space however they are still sealed in bags.

Well you are in luck, I have the Jupiter II and Robot models by AMT\Ertl from the newest movie. I have the runabout. I have E-C, but it's half put together, engineering section is put together with lights and fiberoptics. I started saucer sections, half of that is Fiberoptice.

I would be interested in Voyager, Adverssary set(Rom, Klin, & Freng), & Reliant (amt model)

Hey Travis, I'm a new transplant to Pittsburgh. I've just recently gotten used to driving here which is ruffly equivilent to flying through an astroid field! I'll watch for ya though.

Jeffrey, I just took a look at your shipyard. WOW! Great work man! What an imagination. I was blown away! PLEASE alert me when you come up with more!
My goal is to match the box artwork on the AMT/Ertyl's D7 Battle Cruiser. To me, that would be the pinacle of all models I've ever built. The color scheme is magnificent! I know It's the model from the movie but I'd still like to duplicate it.

Please accept my apologies in how I reacted in all of this. I'm just used to the "unspoken rule" of "First come, first served" when it comes to deals such as this - first person who sends email, PM or posts in a thread gets first dibs on a trade deal. I've done literally hundreds of online deals since 1997 and guess I've just grown to expect that everyone knows how things are.

Obviously, that's something of an elitist mis-conception on my part and I'm sorry about that. There's really no excuse for it, as I know there are new people "discovering" online life every day.

Dear Kahless72. I have your two models boxed, Padded & ready to ship. I can't wait to see the JupiterII & Enterprise-C. I included that FASA ship I was telling you about. Build The ship using Super Glue & paint the raised lines and I think You will be extreemly impressed at the detail.

:thumbsup: Storvick, I have a private source that has a Maquis ship for sale. It's a little salty {$27.50} but I'm going to pick it up Friday anyway. On the one I built, I bought a pair of blue 3" automobile neon's (about $10.00) and mounted them behind the grill work with a pre-fab flasher circuit and it looks killer!!! I used a DIN plug so I'd have enough leads.

Do you have anything small you can throw in to even it out? If not, no biggie!Maybe we can work something else out if your interested. I'm pretty flexible.The kit is sealed & the Box is in great shape.

I guess ed was in the hospital and wasn't thinking too clearly when he got bombarded with the requests and trades, so its nice to know someone fessed up besides me to getting the wrong model. I am sending the one back to him that I got wrong so whoever was supposed to get the TOS Ertl Enterprise its on its way back to ed.

yup, it is the same one that you were supposed to get Dave, I had never seen the model kit before and now that I have taken a look at it, I am coming up with all kinds of ways to light it. I am still going to send what is rightfully yours. I don't like to gain from others mistakes. I want to be honest and reliable as much as possible. :)
