BRD tuned EA motors.

Tony, love ya man but I can't believe anyone would need to "tune" an EA motor! EA tuned a few at the Firecracker that someone else built and they were awesome.

Tornado_Racing
07-27-2004, 09:01 PM
Motors need to be tuned for each track. That's all Brooks did was tune the motor to what we need at Chatham!

EA motors rock!

Web site should be finished in a few days. By now everyone knows its motors. I will only be doing stocks and machine wound 19 turns. No handwinding for me!! If someone wants a handwound 19 turn I can get them done and tune them for you accorddingly.

Thanks

I'd like to thank Eric for a great motor. I called Bruce at RC4less and ordered a EA motor. Took the motor out and ran it for 200 secs with a fan and installed it and set the new track record for Hobby Raceway in Nascar. And you were right Eric the numbers don't do justice for what the motor does on the track.

One happy customer

Tony and Andy....Thanks for the compliments. Glad the motors worked well for you all!! I have switched over to the Turbo Dyno in the past few months and I think the motors I am putting out now are better than the first batch that I tuned off the Fantom dyno... The CE Dyno is true just like Putnam has been telling everyone.. Best investment I have ever made!!

Just to let you guys know; EA Stock motors were a *BIG* hit at The 2004 Virginia Oval Championships. I sold a bunch of Eric's Stock motors, as racers practiced and prepared for the race. The week prior to the race, Jesse Bean, a local racer, cracked the lap record with a brand new EA motor. Then, on the night, Chris Rhinehart took an EA motor right out of the box (I know, I had the box), and took TQ and the A Main win.

Every EA motor I sold screamed! Every one was raving about the power they generated; and I got zero complaints. Great work, Eric! Thanks; Ernie P.

FWIW, EA Stock motors are still ruling the roost at Thunder Road. We got the first of them back in November; and can't keep them in stock (no pun intended). They have been running fast ever since. Thanks, EA; Ernie P.

Glad to hear that, Eric. I think we're okay on brushes; just remember to send those springs of your's with the motors. I'd be willing to bet we won't have an EA motor left in stock when the race is over! BTW; the race entries are looking good! Thanks; Ernie P.

EA
can you shed some light on these new Epic Fuji 19T's?
how are they different than the Trinity Cobalt motor?
I thought they were the same arms and cans for both motors.
But I am hearing the Endbell is different..any advantage over the cobalt and do they come with normal standup hoods or P-94's like the Cobalts do
thanks

Yes yes,,, Please elaborate!!!! (sp)?

EAMotorsports
03-07-2005, 11:55 PM
The Fuji motor uses a D5 can and D1 Thin web armature. The endbell is new. The hoods are different. They come out and support the brushes farther toward the comm like the Cobalt does. It comes standard with normal size standup brushes. So it doesnt have to be retrofitted with them. So far these things out perform any 19 turn Ive had on my CE dyno. I built 5 last night. For you amp draw guys I used 4383's with orion red/silver springs at 2Volts with a fan they all pulled from 11-15amps. But they dyno great on the CE!!

Hope this helps!!

EA,

I'm not that fimilar with the D1 blank but is it thicker then 4.33mm as per ROAR rules or is it another Trinity blank that I am thinking of is the super thin one.

EAMotorsports
03-08-2005, 08:53 AM
Its the same blank that everyone else uses in the ARCOR 19 turns. Its legal for ARCOR, ROAR, Norrca. Nothing new....its been around since the early 90's I think.
