Well just got done playing with my first "X" Stock motor and all I can say is its an awesome motor!! People who liked the Roar stock will love this one!! It makes more torque and and RPM than the Roar stock with about the same or slightly more wattage and does it all using LESS AMPS!! 12th scalers will fall in love with this bad boy and TC's should love it as well.

I do not do any of my won winding...I just conentrate on make stock and 19 turns fly. I do have my own line of Mod motors though that are wound by Curtis Schlaht of DC Motorsports....He is the BEST winder in the industry and does a LOT of OEM work for other companies that wont give him the credit he deserves. Anyone run the new Epic black can motor yet? I was wondering if the gearing was the same as the ROAR stock motor (gold can ) or if you have to go up or down with gearing to make it work? Thanks

EA, quick question do you run the serations on the f-brush in stock motors or do you take them off. If you take them off what is the best method of doing it with out changing the contour of the brush face to much. Thanks Mike

Let the brush break-in and after the first run cut the com. After that just clean the face and break -in after every run. Yiu should be able to get 4-6 runs easy.

After a bit of testing, the "F" stand up can be re-serrated. The brush is very soft so you need to take your time and not push too hard during re-serration. We now car triple the life of the brush with the same performance run after run.
