Your race director for the Indiana Outdoor Offroad will be Greg June. You may know Greg from Indy's Major Taylor Velodrome Fun Runs, the Velodrome Nationals and PDX Racing. Greg will be running the show on race day.

One week to go until the Indiana Outdoor Electric Offroad in Ft. Wayne, IN. Immediately after weekly racing on Saturday August 7, work will begin on an new layout for the offroad track. This is being done specifically for the Indiana race on the 14th to encourage everyone to come on out for Summit R/C Raceway's biggest race of the summer. Both the locals and the out-of-town racers will be running on the same new layout for the first time, so there will be no "home court advantage" for Summit's weekly racers. Track will be open for practice Friday from noon until dark, and again Saturday morning, with racing beginning at noon. AMB-RC timing, so you can use your personal transponders. Summit should also have 2 sets of rechargeable track-owned transponders by the 14th. so there will be no waiting on transponders, even if you don't have a personal.
Indoor and outdoor pit space available
On-site hobby shop
Door prizes
HUGE trophies
Come on out!

The new layout is near complete, just some polishing here and there. After watching Austin run some laps with a 10 double, mod class is going to be fun on this layout.

One other note that wasn't mentioned on the entry form is that the rain date is on the following day, the 15th.
