Well one more trip to Maine and the right tires, I should have the car right on target...Ran trc's and couldn't get the car to settle down...Dave let me a set of front Jaco's and the car really started to settle down...Now when I return to Maine with the right tires the car should run better...

bojo how you doing???????

Dave, just wondering what the rules are going to be for 19t as far as which brushes and cans will be allowed, since roar decides to change their minds every other month. Hope to see you at the race Mike M.

No wings in 19T?? Is this a typo on the flyer? Is it because of scale appearence? Not many nascars with bright yellow wheels and an open back.
What is the thinking behind this?

We never run wings in 19t there anyway.

I ran a wing in stock the times I was there, if I remember the track had a lot of front bite. Maybe it has changed. At 19T speed it should be an option. I'm trying to think of a reason why they would not allow them.

dancingd

I don't run a wing in 19 turn pro there and I can't think of anyone else that does...

u2racer
09-26-2004, 12:27 PM
people did run wings there years ago in stock and 19t, but all of the records the last few years were set without using a wing. Personally I think it slows you down in 19t., just my opinion! I don't know why anyone would care as long it was the same for everyone?

hey guys........had a printing error on race entry for fall race: 19t open class-P94 brushes and quad mags allowed. still no laydown brushes. sorry for the mistake. spread the word. no wings in stock and 19t, mod only. dave

Why a no wing rule in 19t? How is that helping anybody? Whether it be better or worse, it should be an open option.

See Bat, dont worry about what my "nickname" is- I can go incog any time I want under the Captains handle and nobody would EVER know- well, you would probably know because there wouldn't be any spelling errors and the msgs would make sense

You guy's need to get together on your rules. Everywhere I've been allows WINGS in 19 turn. I was going to come, but I run wings and if there not allowed, I guess a few of us wont be able to come.

Anyone can get a wing, it's nothing new, so what's the deal???

Later, Bret

THE BAT

Dumb rule it should be racers choice.Though it's definately not needed there.Except in mod.;)

dancingd
09-29-2004, 08:44 PM
Jet, please don't let the wing rule keep you from coming to this race..It's a nice place to race..:)

MobileMikeV

Yeah it should be a choice whether it works or not... What is the reason for not allowing it?

I run the same car in mod that I do in 19 (until my custom works cars get here :p ) so I'm not going to be pulling the wing off and on all day.
