View Full Version : Race date's for Fairfield Maine races...
team kmr 10-01-2004, 12:38 AM wow all of this hupla over wings? those things are ugly anyways, and besides in full blown mod, they are only need by those who can not set up their cars. Every track record I have seen set there, the car was wingless. This track has very good traction and 19t always has bumper to bumper racing with most of the A-main guys staying on the same lap the full 4 minute main. The rules are the same for all, so if not being able to use a wing is a disadvantage(which it is not), everyone will be have the disadvantage. Same with motor rules, they are the same for everyone! It does not matter waht ROAR rules are cause this is not a ROAR race. Bottom line if you want to make the rules, buy a track! Wow I feel sort of like Dave Despain on windtunnel, and this is my take!
Chassis Doc 10-01-2004, 01:07 AM Wow - with all this talk about wings, I'm getting hungry. Anyone up for some buffalo wings at Ruby Tuesdays on Saturday night ?
MobileMikeV 10-01-2004, 06:45 AM See... there is no reason to not allow them... Racers choice. Brushes are different.
This is like saying that everybody has to run 200mm rear track witdh with NO exceptions. Would you want that?... no. So why not save tech time and just allow them. If they dont work, then they will not be on most cars.
B.Sousa 10-01-2004, 02:21 PM mike you decide if your going or not? i think i am got the car all ready to go and my k/n car is set for next weekend need to get some kind of practice in it's been 5 months. give me a call, Brad
The Jet 10-01-2004, 04:05 PM If they don't help then let me run it, what's the problem??? Track records are wingless...Then let me run slow WITH IT.
Later, Bret

dancingd 10-06-2004, 07:54 PM Boy I wish I didn't have to go to this wedding on Saturday..I keep saying to my wife can I bring my car stuff so if I get bored I can go to Maximus, because the wedding is just up the street from the track..
you will have plenty racing next friday. when i am racing this saturday I will think of you lol
speedfreak_on_the_oval 10-07-2004, 02:40 PM I will be there. Either 19t or stock. From what I understand, the Kisby 19t isnt allowed, becaus eits not a D5 can? I have an older, YOK based, like a TI. If I cant use that, then I will definetly run stock. Hotel's booked, so this means I WILl be there...lol...see ya soon
Dave
MobileMikeV 10-07-2004, 05:08 PM no D5's? in 19t??
speedfreak_on_the_oval 10-07-2004, 07:48 PM No, only D5s.
From Dave:
there will be 2 classes of 19t, 19t spec w/ trinity chameleons, and 19tpro d5 cans, no laydown or p-94 brushes, no quad magnets. we are not a roar track
19 Pro is D5s only form what Im getting.
Dave
The Captain 10-07-2004, 08:19 PM Dancingd don't worry your not alone. I'm counting also can't wait.
rumor has it that the bat might be growing little feathers.
dancingd 10-07-2004, 08:48 PM Dave,if you go back to post #31,you will read that it was a printers error on the flyer...Yes you can run p-94 brushes,4 magnet cans. But you can't run lay-down brushes..
barnz2 10-07-2004, 10:47 PM Dad and I are planning on making the trip. We'll see all of you on Saturday the 16th, 8 more days.
