I'm planning on coming down but I'm down to three ultrabirds. I lost the comm on one saturday so I chunked it slam dunk style in to the nearest garbage receptacle and one other is getting real small too. I guess I could run stock, Nah I'll figure something out. See you'ins guys there.

Somehow I get the feeling the park will be busy today. Looks like everyone from north Fl and south Ga is coming. Can you say FOCARS warmup, warm up race?

I'm predicting someone will run a FOCAR legal bird set up and hit that elusive 4.9 lap barrier tonight. With the quality of racers that have been showing up there lately it might be a whole train of 4.9 second cars nose to tail. :rolleyes:

It seems like the ol' Dodge has hit so much racing the past 2 months... I raced Speedline Monday, Franks every Wed, Jax last Sat, Daytona, TQ, MTR. I won't know what to do tonight knowing there's good racing going on without me.

Hmmm? Maybe I should get into fortune telling. 4.9's? Lets make that 4.8's with the ultrabirds. Everyone was flying. In 19t it was a good race for 2nd on back. Tom Pedano just checked out with his new car. I think he averaged 4.9 the entire run. Uh oh! Tom has a short track car now. We're all in trouble.

Last month, 5.0's got everyones attention. This month if you ran 5.0's you had to get outta the way. :rolleyes:

I had a great time racing Saturday. I actually made the A! (10th). The racers at Strickland are a great group to race with, very clean racing! I will be back next month.

what kind of new car? still a trc?

tom makes his own chassis..so when he needs a short track car..he goes home and cuts out a new chassis 2.5 mm i think. his car is not 100% trc..hasn't been in a long long time. it even has off set t-plate no trc ever had that! lol he sucks and i think he needs to retire. i'm building up a base of racers who wan t him gone..so far i'm the only member! he he he is mad fast!

I love racing against Tom. it is a challenge. to perform on his level you need nothing short of perfection. hell last time I went to Strick all I could muster was a 5.1 now I am running 4.9's it's funny Tommy is the fasest guy at the track and it seems that everybody thinks it's motor/ battery. it's not I have seen his motors and batterys. both are above average but not special. his car turns in harder and comes off harder than anyother. I had a really good car this time and he made me look like I was stoping in the middle of the turns. get your cars to turn with out turning the front tires = cornerspeed

And you'll still kick our butts(tm):tongue: Although it would be cool to see a rolltop desk at speed. Nah, That'd be too heavy, Maybe an old fashioned pie safe. With all that screen it would probably have low drag too.

yah Lee gates open at 2 pm racing at 5 pm if you have never been this is a must track. it is super smooth. they have power but if you own a generator I would bring it.

George, Between working every other Sat and the R-word I,ve never made it down there, got this Sat off, with a little cooperation from mother nature and my wife :rolleyes: might just sneek down there.

actually, my hurricane post was referring to Jeremy, he's "hurricane" racing ........ but with the tropical whatever it is out there churning things up in the gulf it dont look good right now ..... guess we'll know more by friday this time ....... you never can figure the weather though
