Dusty,

Good to here my "borrow a ride" performed well. I am going to try and make it that weekend. Me and my wife just bought a house and I am busting my butt trying to get moved in. Just bolt in some power and turn me loose. It will be a good change of pace running a pan car as opposed to my Nitro burning 1/8 scale.

Mark, Monti, what's uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuppppppppppppp???

Monti007

hey EROCK
how's it going ?

come over for some flat track racing

later
jasonJason,
All is good here, just waiting on graphite for my new car.
Our asphalt race 2 weeks ago turned out really well...28 stockers, 50 guys total. I was slow at first, found out it was my speedo going south on me, switched that and was able to pick up the TQ and win in stock..

I guess Cyrul is opening a snowbirds sized track over in Toledo, plus the Cincinnati area is putting a flat track in this winter as well. I have been trying to get down to Y-city near Columbus and over to Michigan to run with Zubie and Ernie for some flat carpet racing...it might be tough money wise to travel since I am going to Sandhills in November and March this upcoming winter season but I will try and make it over at some point. Keep us Classic guys posted of any big races you guys are going to host.

Mark Recio
10-04-2004, 10:44 AM
Thanks for another good weekend of racing guys! If we can sort out the power issues, I think we'll be in good shape.

Dominic Reese picked up 3 seconds in 19-turn to go 61 flat, Monti used Koback power to go 66 03 in open. Great run guys!

This weekend looks to have a good turn out as well. With the Gaerte (what happens if you guys change employers?) guys coming down, a potential appearance from the Godfather of Rip, and the triumphant return of the NC, we should have a good crowd. If you've got a car, get it out and come on over!

FWIW, Mid December still looks like the time frame for a two day event. Pencil it in now!

Kris

ya someone would have a 19 turn motor for ya
as far as set up for your pan car (KSG) you would have to get with the guys who run that, because that would be a different set -up than the LEADING EDGE CAR "THE EDGE"

This would be a good weekend to come down should be a good turn out.

Yokman
oh ya i forgot who you are
ya your the only one running yokomo, but the only guy i seen swsitch cars and run his tc3 better ?

i'll call ya today
i do have a 19 turn motor for ya
what you should do is get the hook up with Leading Edge on the battery tray set up for the TC3... New and ready for production.
all ya have to do is minor work to your TC3 and your ready.

In terms of Touring 19T, my boy and I are going to stick with stock motors. I think that if some in the class go to 19T, it may as well be open mod. If you're going to spend $55 for a motor, it might as well be an 8 turn double. I would predict that the fastest cars in stock will be faster than the slower guys in 19T, but have fewer broken cars. Just my own thoughts. BC

hey Bob

for those going to snowbirds to race this year would bennefit from 19 turn, because thats what thry will running down there.

I'm game to run every other week 19 turn for practice for snowbirds, but for stock i will be game to that until first of november.

Well, you know, for gearing up for the 'Birds, I can completely understand the 19T motor class Touring Oval. And of course for all that want to run 'em, I say go for it. When I started in Touring oval, it was a 19T class and it was way fun. See ya Saturday.

What a "yoker". Yeah, my boy and I will be there. Brian is iffy. Joe may well be back for more. I think Preston is in for some. I have a slightly different set-up on the car. I want to see if we can't get a "6" out of her. I'm taking a Personal day this Saturday, so we'll be there early. And don't worry about the parts on the Yoke. You have three days to make that TC3 more right.

Corey1701
10-07-2004, 06:16 PM
Yeah - Preston is down for some touring car action. He got some new tires so who knows what it will handle like now. Nothing handles better than an old set of "guffies".

As for me - I will try the 19t again and try and stay outta the way again. I am getting really good at letting people pass me - its kinda an art form.. haha.

See ya all Saturday

jason crist

tc3 is the way to go when yoou get the battery tray off LEADING EDGE
who has a bettery tray for your tc3 to set those batts out further.
also the battery's LEADING EDGE puts out are great for that long run time you need (we all need) at the end of races.

Randy,

Give me a call tomorrow about the speedo. We'll work it out. As for who's running what tomorrow, doesn't look like we'll have a crowd for mod, but 19-turn should be good.

C-ya all Saturday!

PS: If anyone talks to Burkie tomorrow, please ask him if he got any Paragon in. If not, I need to get some before I leave sat!

Hey Jason, what kinda laps your running in 19t and can you remember what Busch is turning?

Monti007
10-10-2004, 06:51 PM
Right now the track records are as follows

Bush 57 4:02
19t 62 4:03
4 cell mod 66 4:02:42

I want to say thanks to Hayes and Burbs for coming down from Wisconsin. I hope the ride home was not to tuff for ya! Next time bring friends and leave Sully!

As for the track and whats going on....I can only see improvements, I think if we can get the word out, there will be 80 people for atleast one night of racing this year!

Everyone keep in mind that we are shooting for November 5th for a big gathering of fast regional guys for Stock, 19t, and 4 cell mod.

And a final note....I have put this out there to a few other guys but I think Bush class should run the 4800 series brushless motor system from novak. I have seen these things run and they are awsome! Just think about going to the track and never having to take the motor out of your car or better yet not having to cut a com! Just some food for thought. Let me know what everyone thinks.

I'm out!

-Monti-

Had a blast running with you guys yesterday. Jason that was a pretty good battle in the main, we must have went back and forth 5 times....... car was too fast for the driver. hehehe

Monti, do you mean the 5800 brushless? That's what they ran at the paved nats. My dad has been running the 4300 (stock version) the last few weeks I think that's what trackside has decided on for their brushless class. Those things have so much torque that on carpet i think the 4300 will probably be about 1-2 laps slower than a 19t. 5800 would probably be faster than 19t.

See you guys Nov. 5
