dragrace 09-20-2004, 11:04 PM   Well I heard the King (Brent L) on the phone after the 2nd round. He was complaining about not having enough power to catch the other high paid fully sponsored drivers.
Just like I predicted the King is done.
jason crist 09-21-2004, 11:53 AM hey dragrace
your correct he was off the pace, but he did not have the
RED RAG with him that night.
so word has it he bought out napa of all their red rags (year supply)
19 turn as all the classes where very strong fields.

Mark Recio 09-21-2004, 11:55 AM Looks like a good group will be there this weekend, both for 19-turn, and even perhaps mod...
rockin_bob13 09-21-2004, 12:04 PM Man, I thought I'd be closer with the 19T car. I was out to lunch. 'Course they serve a pretty good one at the Moose. My son asked me to give him some competition with the Touring oval, so I'll keep that 19T car ready but switch over this weekend. Touring oval guys, bring 'em out. We had @ 6 of 'em last weekend and with my car will make 7.
Mark Recio 09-21-2004, 12:11 PM I have a nitro TC that hasn't seen much action, will that work? ;)
rockin_bob13 09-21-2004, 12:24 PM ;) See ya there, buddy.
yokman 09-21-2004, 06:15 PM bring it rocking bob. were ready 4 u. from what i seen last weekend i ll be wouring more about your boy.lol , see ya sat. hofer
blueracer55 09-21-2004, 07:46 PM i'll be there next sat,
Corey1701 09-22-2004, 03:44 PM How many 4 cell stocks were there last weekend? Or should I plan on 19T? As soon as soccer season is over (two more weeks) Preston and I will be there!
Corey
yokman 09-22-2004, 04:46 PM cory ther wernt any 4 cell stockers running last sat. track is to big you'll want more motor so bring your 19 turn or mod. if you still got your touring car bring it. they also had about 6 legands there sat. hope to see you there soon.
Mark Recio 09-22-2004, 05:00 PM Stock on a big track guys is far more challenging then you might think. Don't fall into the trap of thinking big track=need for speed.
Corey1701 09-22-2004, 05:08 PM Thanks for the info........One more question, are they allowing Paragon traction goop or only the non-stinky stuff?
I still have the touring car - Preston will be piloting that, so there is one more to add to the list.
rockin_bob13 09-22-2004, 05:11 PM Paragon is fine. Hey Corey. Bob
Corey1701 09-23-2004, 02:32 PM Hey Bob, long time no see. how are you and greg doing?
And where can a brother find a couple of new Kisbey 19T motors - those things are impossible to find. Everyone is sold out.
Do I need to contact a memeber of the mob to get new ones? I saw the link above in this forum, but of course - sold out!
Mark Recio 09-23-2004, 03:19 PM Try AAA, tell Dale Mark Recio pointed you in his direction. They have 9 D5's in stock

Monti007 09-23-2004, 03:51 PM Bruce at RC4less.com has them as well
-Monti-
Monti007 09-24-2004, 01:40 AM I was talking to Burke tonight and he said that he will be at the moose at 8 am on Saturday and if you want to get there that early then feel free!
-Monti-
Aaron Johnson 09-24-2004, 05:28 AM How is the turnout for the 6 cell stock? What type(s) of batteries do they allow for this class? Once my kids football and soccer seasons are over, I'm going to try my hardest to make to some races. My wife and I haven't ran our oval cars since Hobbytown shut down....should be interesting.... :freak:
Mark Recio 09-24-2004, 09:20 AM Aaron,
If you are talking about 'busch' or 'sportsmen' then they should have enough to run. If you are talking about 6-cell stock with 3300's, I wouldn't count on it.
mcastor11 09-24-2004, 09:29 AM On the TC's what do they run? Stocks? or 19t's? I might have one and could be there in a couple of weeks as well. Any info will help...Thanks
bluelineracer 09-24-2004, 09:32 AM it's friday....whitesel, you started charging yet?
DaveW 09-24-2004, 10:38 AM My packs are charged and ready to go. Now I won't have to bring a charger.
S Brown 09-24-2004, 01:09 PM Look like Dave's ready to dish out some country justice this weekend.
yokman 09-24-2004, 03:43 PM as far as the touring cars were running stock right now but if any body wants to run 19 turn or mod then i am down. see every body tomorow
bluelineracer 09-24-2004, 03:55 PM did ya hear that mark? no need to keep cycling packs...CHARGE AWAY!
since it's almost 3 and dave's already charged, i'm going to bump it up to 10 amps. i'm always a little behind the "blue flame"
jason crist 09-24-2004, 06:51 PM Monti

smokefan 09-25-2004, 02:02 AM Mark or whom ever would like to answer, How many Busch cars are you guys getting? I am hoping to head down there with Paul H. as soon as my car gets done.
Monti007 09-25-2004, 02:13 AM so far about a half dozen but the racing season is still young.
-Monti-
smokefan 09-25-2004, 02:19 AM Thanks Monti look forward to seein you guys soon.
Mark Recio 09-26-2004, 12:14 PM Hey guys, thanks for a great track, program, and friendly wait staff last night. The racing was very clean, and FAST! See you next week perhaps!
bluelineracer 09-27-2004, 09:51 AM yeah, it was a fun night. gotta get a closer pit spot to brent and dave though. i had to strain to hear them arguing from across the gym. we'll give it a go in a couple weeks. thanks for the opportunity burkie.
dk
oh yeah...the boy digs paragon.
blueracer55 09-27-2004, 11:51 PM o.k. I got the ksg back together. I'm ready to do some rubbin with the 19turn boys. Brent hide the rags, I'm going to steal 'em' all.lol.... See all you guys saturday. Hopefully I can find the joint.
Monti007 09-28-2004, 11:21 AM Joint? The last time I checked you can not smoke those there. I know Burke said cigs were okay but I am not to sure about joints!.
-Monti-
erock1331 09-28-2004, 11:31 AM Bummer,
Nothing like watchin a dude all baked at the track trying to hit the hole on his soldering iron holder with the iron for 5 minutes....priceless.
Joint? The last time I checked you can not smoke those there. I know Burke said cigs were okay but I am not to sure about joints!.
-Monti-
Mark Recio 09-28-2004, 02:48 PM FWIW, I don't believe you can smoke in the track area proper regardless of substance. Who's in for 4-cell classes sat? Koback, you out there?
jason crist 09-28-2004, 03:07 PM 4 cell ? what class mod? i don't know much but willing to give it a wheel and go high every other lap or so.
hey EROCK

EMK68 09-28-2004, 04:08 PM Hey Mark I am gonna try and make it down Oct 9 have plans this weekend
See ya Eric
Mark Recio 09-28-2004, 04:14 PM Yes, racing ;)
DK will be there that week too. Will you run 19-turn? So far, there haven't been too many (if any) 4-cell stockers.
Jason, that's the thing; just trying to figure out who would be there for four cell. Last week saw quite a few busch, touring & legends, but only ten or so 4-cell cars spread over two classes.
bluelineracer 09-28-2004, 04:36 PM EMK...let randy know his 'birds ride performed well. by that weekend(if he can get paroled) he should be able to give it a test run.
dk
Mark Recio 09-28-2004, 05:01 PM Guess you weren't kidding about that car afterall... ;)
bluelineracer 09-28-2004, 05:29 PM we at rural motorsports strive to make all of our cars run equally and competitively at all times. if we can make one go well, the rest are fully capable...blah...blah...blah....
i'll be back in black next time. simple....he beats me with it, he's done. repo. :D
EMK68 09-28-2004, 06:24 PM Dusty I will pass on the info to Randy. I plan on running stock if all possible
if not then Mark's HP will have to be under the hood I don't own a 19 turn
motor. Randy also said he would be up for racing on 9th if all possible.
This weekend I will be at the Notre Dame Purdue football game have to take
care of the homefront before I can race. GO IRISH
