Hay old buddy I build you a car.

Just hope you remember the racing terms I taught you last season “How bout it” and “Next corner”

It showed so much sportsmanship on you part when you moved out of the way as I was lapping you over and over again.

onefastdude
08-25-2005, 02:24 PM
Yea, when you get that far down from the start, you usually have to lap me many times to just try and get back on the same lap that I am on! I have to sslloooowwwww down so you can pass me. As long as you are only two or three laps down from me you usually are pretty happy.

Hill Jack,
The integy 030 works great and is a little cheaper then the novak tray. Make sure you discharge your battery on you turbo 35 when your done running then put it on the tray and leave it in the tray until your done running the next round. Make sure when you solder the wire on the battery is cooled off.

If you guys are going to be running on saturday I will probably come down a few times this winter. Good luck at the "new" place.

I'll give a call to Dan Blacklidge and Tony Stewart as well! Dan can borrow my Attack II stick radio and Tony can drive my 10L with the high tech Cheetah front end!

Don't forget the Protech variable charger, ...

I thought my Protech charger was THE stuff back in the day! With the cool red 'chasing' LED lights and all. Still have it somewhere complete with a nice burnt smell.

Chad, long time no talk! I was planning on calling Rick, haven't seen him in about a year! I'm so busy I barely have time to sleep, much less race. I've been trying to run 12th on-road (badly). Hope to see you at Stout.

BTW, is Busch class still 6 cell? and are spec tires other than TRC allowed?

j21moss
09-10-2005, 09:14 AM
Trinity.TRC, and BSR Spec tires are allowed and still 6 cell.. however we had ran the 4 cell Busch late last season..but both classes will run

You guys going to have a brushless class?

Saturdays or Sundays?

Great, just what we need, another NASCAR class! It's no fun for me to just race against 2 other people when there's 12 different classes available. :freak:

Mark Recio

Brushless is quite the rage right now...wouldn't mind seeing it be a class.

MK Race
09-11-2005, 12:14 AM
There would be 4-6 of us from St. Louis that would make the trip to race there. We can run either stock or brushless, which ever class was the biggest.

Looks like our 19 turn guys up here in wisconsin will be running bruhless as well.. they are tired of 3 people showing up for 19 turn.. so now we will have stock and brushless.. should be a good crowed.. we will have to re strap in those 19 turn when we come down to indy..

so whats this i hear the new castle track is going to be 1.5 hours closer to wisconsin??? thats awesome.. should be able to make it more this season]

Depending on how fast you drive it might only be 1.25 hours closer. :p

the average speed limit through illinois, and indy is 80 + isnt it???? I thought it was last time i went.. well thats what monti told me the speed limit was... I think he does 10 over the posted 80 Hmmm..

j21moss
09-11-2005, 07:29 PM
last time I heard..Monti doesn't have a speed limit!!

Sonny B
09-11-2005, 08:56 PM
Burbs from Trackside it would be about 4 to 4 1/2 hrs.

Mangler thinks he can do it in about 3 1/2.

Brushless

So what is going to be the rules for batteries this indoor season.. I know 3300's are become less the norm, and the gp 3700; and new ib 3800 seem to be selling well.. Cells to not get roar aproved until jan 1st.. so will there be an open battery rule until the cells are all aproved?? i sure hope so, there is 3 or so out there now

j21moss
09-12-2005, 09:02 AM
the last time I heard, 3600/3700/3800's won't be legal here until Jan.1st but who knows, things change around here like the weather...I'll try and get the info and the official word about the starting racing date...also probably need to start a Indy Stoutfield Thread

09-12-2005, 04:02 PM
At the state race meeting they were voted in, I'm sure they will be allowed to run the new batteries.

burbs
09-12-2005, 04:49 PM
well it seems all of the matchers are no longer going to be selling the 3300's that why i ask.. otherwise no new batteries until jan 1st kinda stinks..

bluelineracer
09-12-2005, 04:59 PM
moss...it's safe to retire the 1200's. technology is scary...now, run around the front of your car grab the crank(easy guys) and spin it until the motor chugs. we'll see ya at stout field.
anybody know if "ol burkie" is still looking around in here?

Hay C3 how have you been?

Not sure what to tell you, I'm guessing the carpet will be the same that was used in New Castle last year. For size I would guess something a little bigger then Fort Wayne.

They used this location for many years in the late 80's and 90's. Lots of R/C history at Stout.

Mark Recio

Yep, Sonny and I were there for the last one...and the invention of 'Quad Time' =)
