Thanks for the offer Z-Main, I'll order them myself so that I can have them on my car by the 26.

Yok, I'm still working on your motor, should have it done this week but I can make up there til the 26... This motor should be as good as anything I run....Just don't beat me with it!!! lol

Wheres the Pro3 thread

Bill Johnson

All looking from the top of the chassis, not from bottom...............

Straight up t-plate/Straight up pod= Right holes in chassis(T-plate)
Middle hole in Bottom Plate(Pod)

Straight up t-plate/offset pod=Right side hole in Chassis (T-Plate)
Right side holes in Bottom Plate(Pod)

Offset T-Plate/Straight up pod=Left side holes in chassis (T-Plate)
Left Side holes in Bottom Plate (Pod)

Offset t-plate/offset pod=Left side holes in chassis (T-Plate)
Middle Holes in Bottom Plate (Pod)

To run any configuration with the final outcome being an offset pod, then the long diff hub in the kit is what you use.
To run any configuration with the final outcome being with a centered pod, you need the short diff hub...........

Thanks to all my Hyperdrive teammates for their help over the past couple or three weeks. When I decided to get serious about my carpet racing, they were there with the fix. "Big" thanks to Whit Wilson & Humpty. Team Hyperdrive shares so much information, it's like having one big family!

Thanks guys...

jimmy24
12-08-2005, 10:31 AM
racing on flat carpet, omaha, west bend, vinton, all tracks have good groove in them, front springs green progressive, wolfe king pins 30k lube on rt and 10k on left . 0 castor,1 pos on left and 2 castor and 2neg on rt. center shock 50wt with silva silver in #3 hole down from top. side shocks in #3 hole with 30wt and wolfe opaque left and assc gold right 12.5oz.on left rear on lefthanders scale setup board. tires lf=doublepink,lr=pink,rr=double pink,rf=doulbe purple. protoform intrepid, with big thunder wing centered over trunk. also this is a solid chassis pro three,is there a big difference? i have not run a slider car for a long time. if there is a definte advatnge i will convert to slider. thanks!

JIMMY24 Try heavier side oil and asc red right rear spring with gold left rear. Also try white rears and black fronts, the pinks and purples turn in hard and push off on most tracks, unless your running mod.

Humpty, I have a quick question for you. Will the setup you gave Caleb for 19t work in stock racing? My car was fast this weekend but looking for that additional edge.you can drop me a line or post here. Thanks Tim carsincknox@comcast.net

The Slider has a shorter post on the Left side for the battery Tray. The Solid both post are the same.

I'll be running a Pro 3 with the ORL (http://www.outlawracingleague.com/02main.html) series in the Craftsman Truck class. Any possible set-up changes or ideas for running a truck body verses a car body? I'm thinking the truck body will have quite a bit less frontend downforce. How will that effect the chassis setup?

Thanks,
Bill

all else being equal, will the slider chassis pro3 turn more than the solid chassis pro3 ?? flat carpet, short loop high bite, stock, thanks, Brad.

MIKE VALENTINE
12-14-2005, 09:36 AM
Tommygun43 All you have to do is just add a spacer the same thickness as the battery adjuster under the shorter left side cross brace. cut a piece of extra graphite or us washers.

HOYT USA the slider does have more front end flex which will generate more front end bite.

BILL80 I haven't run a truck body in a long time, but I found the older bodies had less rear traction. It may have been the body I was running but it was loose compared to the same setup under the nascar body.

Hey Tommy, I had a spare "Blue Car" T-Plate/Pod spacer I used to convert a slider into a solid. But anything .100 will work............

I'm hoping so. I'll have one slider and one solid... sort of, more like a blue hyperdrive with the ksg pod and all the ksg parts. It's different though.

I would like to say thanks to Humpty for helping me get my car dialed in after changing the car to offset & extending the front end.He also helped my son Caleb reach the 61 lap marker 3 times this weekend at Greeneville Speedway. The factory support that Hyperdrive has is second to none! Barry you chose a great guy to wheel your cars... keep up the good work.
