Zinger I run blue rears and the hardess blue front I can fine. some racers run green rears. make sure you run a damper tube the .no shocks on the side

My H Drives never let me down. I just won the fall points series at Omaha Nebraska's hobby plex in Stock (a class I dont normally run) with 6 staight weeks of wins, and my dad following very close with 3rd in those points. My trusty 700 never lets me down.

I measure the stock run line at 177 (i think) or right there close and mod at 184. Stock record that I currently have up is 64 5:03.93. Im on a 700 and Dad is on a pro 2 st so my set ups will not transfer over to a pro 2 with any perfection but here are some ideas. 30 side shock oil, 40 center oil (hpi), silva silver or gold (sometimes black) spring on center, blues or golds on the sides, green standards (most of the time) up front. The track is real tempermental about temp, humidity and the road course groove that is always imbedded in it. So if you car dont work right away,DONT PANIC. The track will be completely different by the end of the day. The key is tires. My tire combination of Purple/blue RF, gray LF, white LR, dbl gray RR has not been beat in stock for 6 weeks right now.

First off I would just like to say what I've read on this site is truely amazing, It's great to see racers helping racers. Here's my deal, I had a 700 that went amazing on the big loop carpet track that I was running with a center line of 125 ( 19 arc.). The problem is I got stupid and sold it for a KSG (very bad move) I have since strugled with a car that is very inconsistant week after week until last week when I sent it packing. I now have a custom (orange/gold) pro2 on its way with the sway bar and all. Here's my questions the track has since gotten bigger 150 with fresh carpet (tire eating carpet that is) and im not to sure on the set up,this is what I had

LF 1 1/2 camber RF 1/2
caster 1/2 4 3/4
spring wolf red/wolf king pins green
a-arm in middle

center shock tc3 60wt green spring positioning ? (sloppy notes)
t-plate G-hard

LR-blue asso. RR gold" "
offset with .069 lr and .038 rr
battery one up all the way out
I had jaycos, but Im switching to RC4less tires. Any info would be awsome on tire compounds and chassis changes.

P.S any addtional help on a banked(5%) ozite 110 center (stock) would also be appreciated.

We are 5 min. for stock here guys. What worse is that hp and another track I go to have both been running 5 in 19 turn. Talk about screwing things up for motor set ups. HP is going to go to 4 finally after the first of the year because of the regional but the other track im sure will stay with the extra min.

On the side shocks mounting locations on the rear cross brace, what are the advantages of each mounting positions? When would you use each?

Making the shocks longer makes it more linear and shorting more progressive.Like moving the shock mounting location up and down on a ksg or CW car.Just not as radical.More progressive for flat tracks and more linear for banked tracks generally.

Can someone help me I have taken my eyes off the hyperdrives a while and now i am confused. What is the difference between the pro2 and a 0700 which is newer. i have been looking at a 0700 but will it be outdated for oval. I checked the hyperdrive site and it just confused me more with all the different numbers and letters so can someone please bring me up to speed. thanks

The 0700 was the first new one out,then came the pro 2,the 2 is a solid chassis version of the 0700.

the Pro2 is the newer of the 2 cars. the 700 car is a slider, as the pro2 is a solid car.
both cars are good, the pro2 is better for bank tracks the 700 better for flats, not to say you cant run them on eather or.

hey guys, i need some set-up help. i normally run 6-cell stock and i love my 510BT shorty that i'm running right now, so i ordered another 510BT. i'm building a 4 cell 19T car on the new car to run at other tracks. the track is 80 ft long, 36 feet wide with 12 ft wide lanes and 12 ft wide infield. i need a starting set-up (tires, springs, etc) for this Ozite CRC carpet track (ft. wayne, IN).

hydroracer theres alot of setups in this thread on differnet pages, but i'll give you a good starting setup for any small track.

lr & rr: whites or greys
front springs: two wolfe greens

toe in:0 degree
side shocks: 30 wt
two blue springs
center shock: 50 wt number 3 piston
silver asc spring or silva gold
med spring steel or .063 bias fiberglass

I have a 1/12 scale SSE pro oval. Does anyone know if there is 1/12 scale aluminum pod plates for these cars or do you always use the regular 1/10 scale aluminum pod pieces?

rccarmaverick the 1/12 pods plates are differnet then the 1/10 pod plates. the pocket that holds the ride height adjusters is milled lower for the smaller tires of the 1/12 scale. the front lower a-arms also have material cut off the bottoms for the same reason. if you need any other help just ask away. tripleh2 the monkey is on it's way to fl, i believe it's probally in dc by now. as for calling me no problem. you can call between 6:59 pm and 7:00pm only the third sunday after leap year. no really if you need anything just post here or call between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm please no later then 8:00 pm the baby goes to sleep then. wish i could have made it this year. later V

i went from a 10l3 to a new pro sse 2 i need major help with set up srpings ,shocks , front end, which hole for hinge pins things like that any help and pics so i can see what you are talking about would be great. PLEASE HELP

zinger77 why not start with the same setup you have on the l3.

new car have many set up option compared to very little on the 10l3

zinger77 so use the same width, height, angle as before. the hd car will allow you to set shocks, servo, front end width, wheelbase, etc, all those things to the same as before, start there. just because theres more options doesn't mean you can't start with the same setup.

hey guys, i have a 510BT and i wanted to know if it is supposed to run a symmetrical(centered) or asymmetrical (offset) T-plate, or does it just depend on how you set the car up?
