Yes all bodies being shipped from Bandit for the last month have included the head light decals. there are no tail light decals because 99% of the racers cut out the back end so where are we going to put them....lol.

if they order direct they will have them. If they order from one of the other distributors they need to ask about the head lights. a couple may not have the new bodies in stock yet but i'm sure most do. Most distributors wait till the run out or are almost out before ordering them so ther might be a couple of them still floating around with out the head lights. Just make sure they ask when ordering.

YEah i think it was yours you should see it soon and please read the note inside.

James, We only got a limited number of test bodies in and they have been sent out already....sorry. We won't order any more till the testing is done and no adjustments are needed. If things work the way they appear to be with the design of the body no changes will be needed.

No big deal Billy, just curious as to what note you were referring to. Whats the latest on the BANDIT "GUNSLINGER" car, is it going to be a conversion kit or a completely new designed, 1:10 scale electric oval car? Are you guys going to have a web site?

Billy W
08-24-2004, 08:01 PM
Gunslinger is an electric oval conversion kit to start 1/10th and 1/12th. As well as an Oval nitro verison as well (which has been winning alot of races all ready). Still working out some of the finial design, and the instructions and a few other small details.

THe web site is sitting on my computer waiting to be up loaded. according to my cousin there is a bug in the software i have that won't allow it to be up loaded and she is taking car of getting a better version so we can get it up loaded.

And anyone that comes by and sees us at the ARCOR open we will have some new items on display that will be available right after that race for shops and distributors.

Good deal Billy, now I see why your called BANDIT R/C Products, you guys are going to have a lot of different products out there other than bodies. Is the Gunslinger conversion kit going to be for the Associated 10L4O, or what?

Billy W
08-24-2004, 08:29 PM
Actualy it will stand on it's on when completly released. we will be using the new motor and left axle carrier from Hyperdrive. but for now and later we know there are several people out there that like the old G-force style chassis and the current versions being tested ahve those pod plates on them and will be offered as well.

If i can rember how too i will add a photo of the new chassis plate to this post. The realy neat part that has made the difference is the testing of the graphite layed in different forms and angles.

Also to let everyone know where we stand the new short track ford as it will be calld performed rather well in it's initial test, and offered a great deal of turning ability, it still hasn't reached its potential for "screwing it's self in the ground" as a few guys like ...lol... so it will get a couple more adjustments and then a couple tests before it will be availible.

Now lets see it the attachment worked....lol... got it!!!

Nice looking piece Billy, you guys have really got alot going on at BANDIT, do you know what time frame the car will be released and will it be available at the same distributors that sell the BANDIT bodies?

Billy W

Talked to CHarlie 5 mins ago.. said he was going to send a couple to AAA model Supply few racers at BMS want the version that fits the Racetech cars. So anyone interested in one can get a hold of Dale or us.

Will there be a KSG version Gunslinger anytime soon, if so where could I get one?

hrtpumper
08-25-2004, 03:22 PM
Definately want one of these, use to run with Steve Lafara the original owner of racetech, shoot me a pm so we can work something out to get this chassis and stuff, Thanks Mike

Billy W
08-25-2004, 06:18 PM
EHR... KSG version? Why? there are plenty of those cars and parts still availible...... Plus any one that uses a Racetech car can use the KSG motor plates to keep the racetech car going. It bolts right into place on the old racetech graphite.

hrtpumper... i will get an pm out to you.......

I just thought you were making like a chassis plate that would be a conversion fit for certain chassis that are available in todays market, like so many people are doing for the Associated 10L4O, that has tons of parts and pieces out there, just so there would be a different choice for anyone that wanted to try a different design without spending the bucks for a whole new car, but looks like you are basically trying to revive the old RaceTech and G-force cars, which is fine with me, I was just trying to get all the information I could on your new chassis.

CornwallRC

Billy any Sight of that Ol'Ford???? LOL Or do we have to go hunting on the lonely ol'dirt roads looking for her??? LMAO

James

Billy W
08-26-2004, 12:29 AM
EHR, i understand what you are saying... Jimmy and Andy did a great job with there cars and there designs. And yes and no about reviving the Racetech designs what we have done is basicly taken it in a slightly different direction. Similer to the way many racers have done for the L4 like Maverick and others have done. Those guys shot for a certin handeling effect and got for the L4 and we have done what we did to take the Old racetech line in the direction we would like.

Personaly i have always felt a car is a car. (and some will argue..lol) Some can make any form of car work and some have to find a car that works with thier style of driving and set up. We are just offering another direction for the racers.

Cornwall, it has left the building..... keep an eye out and keep me informed.

Billy, is the chassis in the above pic going to be the BANDIT Gunslinger complete car kit, if so when do you see it being available to the public and where would they be available at, also is BANDIT going to have a production of replacement parts available, thanks.

Billy W
08-30-2004, 06:37 PM
It is introduced as a conversion kit. CHassis, bumper, cross brace, cross brace supports, neff wing, center shock mount, rear pod top and bottom plate and alum motor mount and left axle carrier.

We are already sending them out as fast as they come in. Right now most sales are direct on the kits. we've had shops and racers contact us.

The gas version re set the track record at CHatham 3 times this past weekend. And the electric version was doing rather well till i clipped the apron and decided to visit the goat pasture off the back strait.....lol

On the conversion kit would the following fit to complete the car, Associated front end kit, Finishline steel spring t-plate, shocks, ride height adj. axle etc.?

Billy wanted to play with the goats.......................lol

Don't forget when you clipped the bottom of turn 3 and backed the car into the turn 4 wall. Looked like a real cup car.

Bandit rebroke 3 track records this past weekend in stock, 19 open, and .09 gas!

Great job to Team Bandit!

Billy W
08-30-2004, 08:37 PM
EHR, basily you got it. same as many of the conversions out on the market today. plus most of the racers that will be interested will have the remaining items needed in thier tool boxes already.

We are planing on having a complete kit released but right now funds are tight since we are working on two new body molds.

No Tony i didn't the car didn'y like the way i was treating it so IT want to play with the goats......lol
