NO WAY I will be running the KSG camp for a long time ...I believe Sponserships are as much about friendship as they are about selling products for your sponsers ...I have been with JACO for 10years ,SMC for 7 years ,Fantom for 7-8 years and so on ....When ADX was not going to produce the new car I ask Andy and his father If they could help me out ...They were more than kind to me and I hope to help them sell cars in the Northeast .As I told Andy you will have to throw me off the TEAM .... Winning is great but having fun with your racing buddies is worth ten times more to me ..

Yep -- Dave's son sent me an e-mail last week. They were moving -- sounds like they are settled now.

I've got a couple Kisbey ARCOR 19T on the way and wanted to know what everyone recommends running for springs/brushes in a 4-cell 1/10th scale pan car.

thanks in advance for your help.

They've been coming in to us with the Orion Red springs on the (+) and the Orion black springs on the (-).

I'm guessing they have his KM-308 special 19T brushes in them, but I'm not 100% sure.

any suggestions on trimming of the brushes? I've heard of a couple guys that are trimming the faces up, is this any help on the Kisbey's? also, no one is currently running 19T 4-cell at our track and we have a that are planning in starting in the near future. We're currently running 4-cell stock. can you guys suggestion which way to go with the rollout for 19T vs. Stock (down 2 teeth, up 4, whatever)? anything to get us in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

19T at our track at 36 degrees is about 5 teeth higher than a Monster stock rollout.
185' runline banked track.

If you run less timing you will need to go up even more.
at 0 degrees we were about 15 teeth higher than a stock rollout.

19 turn 5 teeth higher than stock? Are you saying you run a lower gear ratio (more teeth on the pinion) in 19 turn than you do in stock?

Q-ball i know it sounds wierd that people run lower rollouts with 19t then stock but its true. my home track is marshalls and we run 2.15 for 36degree 19t and 1.95 in stock. i hear its because stock doesnt have the torqe that 19t has so you have to run a tad lower. i guess battery isnt in the equation like it use to be. hope that helps some\

So what about a Kisbey stocker in an offroad setting??? I am currently running a monster that I have been able to get some good numbers out of. However, our offroad track also runs dirt oval on Saturday nights. There are a bunch of guys that run Kisbey motors, mod and stock. They are fast as hell. Let me know if anyone has any offroad experience with them.

thirdplace -

Many racers mount their left side upper control arm in one of the upper holes of the castor block to get the desired camber gain. That change in geometry can cause bump-steer, which is a toe-in change during suspension travel. That toe-in change can cause the car to be unpredictable during suspension travel (expecially in the turns). The toe corrector compensates for the change in upper control arm position and prevents or greatly reduces bump-steer.

for tomorrows race.

go to the ksg website and register if haven't already. in the setup sheets area, there is a completed setup sheet with a good starting point for Stock for a Snowbirds type track. If your track is close to the Birds, it might be a good place to start.

Does anyone have any "KILLER" 19 turns for sale? I'm looking for the 18 amp at 1 volt kind. I'm getting my arse handed to me here locally by a Kisbey Team driver and figured:

"If I can't beat em, join em"
