KC Racing Hp helps me out once again. Managed to knock down my own record again Yesterday in stock class by a full lap with the awesome hp and batteries. Had my dad right on my tail as well. Great job pop

Little Sis Brittany spanks the record in 19 turn in heat one. It fell in the next round to Randy ryder and both ran away in the A for a one-two finish.

Great job everyone.

Hi Guys I bought a KC Racing monster motor from lefthander RC and I geared it to what I normally run and after 5 minutes of racing the motor was 138 degrees. That was with a 1.67 rollout. I cleaned it ran it the second run and still the same temp. but I ran a 1.60 rollout. I could tell the motor was hot cause the car was real sluggish and after discharging a 422 pack at 25 amps I only had 60 sec left I knew something was wrong with it. Our track is about an 88 ft race groove. I had 2.27 tires. with a 120 spur. I beleive I rollout right but could there be something wrong with the motor. Any help would be great.
Thanks,
Fireball929

Sounds like too much rollout for an 88 foot raceline. I would guess 1.40 for a starting point then playing around by going 2 teeth in both directions. That motor will need to rev on a track that short.

Fireball929
12-05-2004, 12:57 PM
The track record was set with a 1.62 rollout last year with a monster. The binary 2 runs about 1.50 to 1.54. The track is basically a U-turn corner (about 3 foot wide). We run a sportsman class with green machine 3 w/hard brushes w/ a 1.40 rollout and they are turning 84 laps in 5 minutes. We are turning 90-91 laps weekly and the track record is 94, that is when the fully sponsered guys come down.
Thanks,
Fireball929

Hey guys just thought everyone would like to know that KC Racing made a strong showing at the VA Race this past Sat. Eric Thomas running my motor put his KSG in the A main and Ritchie Mac stuck his KSG in the 2nd spot. Eric ended up wauding his ride up but Ritchie Mac ended up second. So another good weekend for KCR.
