Well, anything goes offroad if anyone ever shows up with an unlimited MT. So far all we've ever run is stock small block TMaxx. I know the Critter guys all run UL, and the new Associated and Losi trucks all fall into UL, too, as do the Savages, etc.

Besides, have you looked at MT race reports, Tmaxxes are still dominant (atleast pre LST, I'm not sure how it'll stack up at a big race). I know there are people with savages that are interested in racing, someone emailed telling me they were going to bring one to race. But I think on our layout (which is small in the scheme of things) a larger displacement motor will not be an advantage (atleast top end wise).
