How many of you guys are interested in running TC road coarse?
TC's on the oval just doesn't make sense to me. If you want to go fast on the oval get a direct drive pan car. :jest:

Thats has already been discussed. it all depends on WHO shows up for ROAD COURSE. if road course is run, however, it will be 19T and not mod.....

Speedyz, try Gander mountain or Sports Authority. This time of year you should be able to get a 10x10 for around 65 bucks.

Shadow, I am testing out my sling right now. It is raining cats and dogs up here and so far no water in basement. I think that Glenn needs moral support from you at Dirtrunners Indoor Festivities. I am really looking forward to an awesome season............WAYNE

I think we'll have 19T oval, mod oval and 19T road course touring classes. Seems as though there is interest in all of them.

Gary, I see you are here bright and early. I have been busy here and have'nt had time to put my buggy back together. The good news is that with all that rain yesterday not a drop in the basement. Chris and I ended up having to trench the yard all the way back to the river. About 350ft. of pipe.I am so happy that it took care of the problem. Spoke to Dave Lemin on monday and he told me they had a small turn-out at the barn on sunday. I never had a chance to get over there due to having to trench 3 times farther than I anticipated. Will talk to you soon..............WAYNE

Well, if the basement stayed dry in this rain, it will never get wet again -- good job! How many hours on the Teramite did you use to dig a trench that long?

Did you end up bidding Sam goodbye? No need to post answer here - we'll chat.

Hey - can anybody get up to the track and trench out the standing water and get it to run to the drain? Based on the rain yestreday, half the track must be under 3" of water...I'll try, but it's not a good week on my end to try and get there.

By any chance did anybody make it up to the track today? If someone can get there before Sunday it would be a big plus. The less water on the surface the better.

On another note, did everyone get the flyer from Marshall's? Their race is the first weekend in Nov. It is an off week for Dirtrunners so we should have a good group making the trip. If you don't have a flyer let me know and I will make copies of mine.

See all on Race Day...................WAYNE

marshalls has their annual open house race. 2 day event. Discounted prices on alot of stuff. Free food and drink on sunday all day. they pretty much run everything from mini coopers to e-maxxes. mostly oval pan cars and touring cars. sorry guys they don't run touring oval. Nov. 6th 7th. Usually a good turnout every year.

This is Dave Lemin from Barnstormers

Hey guys im just wondering if DB still has a website? I havent raced there in about a year just wondering how things are going there? I'm going to start racing 1/8 they still have that class correct? Engine have to be .21 or will they allow a .26? Also how has the Monster Truck class's been? I'm just looking for a new truck or buggy to get to race. Electric was fun for the first 6 years, but i havent really raced nitro off road. What has been the biggest class out there?

We decided to go with the body Marshalls did, I believe it is a High Down-Force body, possibly the Monte Carlo? I think Wayne knows which one it is.

For everyone who's asked the question "What engine should I get for my TMaxx or Revo", the ultimate answer from OS may be here...

http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=179608

No prices or availablity dates yet --- it certainly ain't gonna make it for this year's outdoor season -- but this should be the one to get. True 'drop in' compatibility with a Maxx, and a 'drop in' Revo version coming.

Nick so far the only body I've seen that fits the spec without triming wheels is the Protoform HD Montecarlo. Bill and I've talked about this last year when bolink was having trouble with production. Not sure where to get them but CDI which bought many of the bolink molds where talking about producing them.

It would be the Protoform HD Monte Carlo, which I believe is the body that Marshalls is going to run.

Or if another company makes the spec body, like Dirk said, we'll probably go back to that.

We can only hope they decide to, it would make the rules easier to follow, at the least.

Ok, thnx for the update with the bodies. I woulda liked to see some different styles out there, but if we are gonna use the HD Monte that is cool too. Just wanted to make sure so i can start getting stuff ready.
