nicwald 09-27-2004, 07:01 PM I have question about membership dues. When is it due? Twelve months after I signed up as a member or at the begining of each year? Please let me know.
I have Monster GT and it seems to have very poor steering. I have a lot of trouble making the tight turns on the track. My Savage truck has no problem at all. Does anyone own an MGT and runs it on the Dirtrunners track? I have tried so many different thing on my MGT to improve its poor turning radius that Im about to give up on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Wish I could hep you out, but I run a t-maxx, haven't even seen a MGT up close. You could try taking out some camber so they front tire will get more side bite.

nope, him and fred thessen kicked my arse indoors no way that truck would have made the difference
dendad 09-27-2004, 07:57 PM we would have to make them so they could fold up or be easily take apart
I could build collapsable jumps that lay flat for easy storage just tell me what you want.
MixMastaMM 09-27-2004, 08:02 PM Could we build a jump that is 100' X 1'? It would fit on the track. Can we change the springs on a T-Spec? I heard that the indoor points winners are getting a Revo and 3 packs from Surge.

GeorgeW 09-27-2004, 10:19 PM I have a question on these new ideas for jumps on the indoor track. Who is going to put these larger jumps out and take them off during the night when we change from oval to off-road and vise-versa, hmmm, anyone volunteering for that job. As far as the T-Spec rules go, you may use any springs. The T-Spec program is designed to run only the T-Spec chassis (only chassis with stamp is legal), body, motor, battery and tires. GEORGEW.

our plan is to build one slightly larger jump. this wont be any more of a setup/cleanup problem sice we will probably be removing a couple jumps to make room for it. (if this all works out that is)

Hey Tone,
Just a little something for you to think about?
Quick Review T-Spec (http://www.rccaraction.com/articles/tourers_3.asp)
rgross98 09-27-2004, 11:11 PM Hey Guys,
I am starting to get ready for indoors. I purchased the spec brushes for the t-spec class. They say spec on the cover and have an orange thread in the braid. I hope that is correct.
I also got my hands on a tc3 and was wondering what shore/color tire most people have had success with for the onroad course. And on practice day I might need a little help with setup, it is my first touring car.
Does anyone think it is worth waiting for those 4wd mini trucks (i.e. associated) or should I get a mini T because there may not be a class for for the the 4wd versions?
Also I started playing with the revo's suspension (camber, caster, toe, shock oil and springs, the proggressive rockers, cut off steering stops, and bump steer) I will let you know how it all works out on race day, if any one is interested just let me know.

Rob,
about the TC3 tires.... on the oval, i run plaids up front (purple/orange combined) and purples in the rear.... i think purples all around would prolly be good.... but i'm sure NICK would have better suggestions than i do...

RobertThe Brushes sound right Robert, Trinity only makes 1 spec brush, so it should be the ticket.
I think a good starting point, like Tone said, is plaids in the front and purples in the rear. I would also have an extra set of purples, in case purples all the way around works better.
About the mini Trucks, I know I am going to get one when they come out, they're just too cool, and they're coming with ball diffs and oil filled shocks. Although they will have to be a seperate class from the mini-T's since 4wd is a large handling advantage. But, I think quite a few will show up.
Let me know if you need anyhting else.

wayneny 09-28-2004, 06:14 AM Hey Charlie, what about if we have all jumps and no carpet?????? Maybe then we would make these guys happy. What they have'nt caught onto yet is that this is INDOOR season coming up. Not an extension of outdoor. The INDOOR track is differernt than the outdoor track. You must be able to run on both...WAYNE
