Tone, where did you get your X-ray M18 pinions, I just can't seem to find them anywhere. I am using the orion ones, but the set screw is really small.

I went off my port o ramp and smacked a tree 10 feet in the air, and then the car split in half and fell to the ground, it was those 2 aluminum brace pieces. I should of got that little graphite brace piece. I ordered them both from china and hope they come before the race. Racing is its second job.

And its done for oval, but although its real fast, it still takes some skill.

I received some unassembled battery packs from Surge Batteries on Thursday to give away at the Challenge.:) Tone driving a womp,...the walls may not be safe.;) Don't worry we'll find something for ya Tone. Official entry count for the Challenge is now at 110 so don't wait till the last minute. I'll be at Zeppelins after 6:30 to take more entries.I have to see how the trophies are coming after work.Everybody bring needle nose pliers for Tone's chassis. GW

I probably won't make it tonight, so just run the "straight" womp and I'll get the chassis sometime before the next race.

Missed your speech last night...

Dunno - my womp started whimpering at the thought of being on the track the same time as The Tone :p ....

I didn't do anything on my fleet this week, and I'm going to Marshalls on Sunday, so I really should stay home and wrench. Kevin's stuff is still sitting on the bench broken since we went to Barnstormers back in July. Too many toys, not enough time...

Might swing by though cause I do need some parts. I'll see.

I raced offroad the first time, and didn't do so well, so the next time I figured I'd race oval. It already won that, so I'd try my luck on the offroad. I just need some good rear tires. What I could go for is some hard spikes.

Check the screws that hold the tranny in. The mounts on the tranny may be stripped.

I heard that once they put it up we can no longer race at the track until its gone because people do not want to hear the noise

Tone,

I took the ez start apart and it looked fine. I put it all together and it was working again. I think it will be fine for the challenge. I also noticed the rear tire was more wobbly than before (about to break off like chris's did) and the other rear tire was torn off the rim.

I just made some new bow tie tires and put in the close ratio two speed for the challenge.

Well I am off to try and speed build my buggy :freak: .
