well that explains it. this is why you need to use clips instead of those dumb collar things. it is near impossible to get them even without using a ruler.

The Victors are great chargers, but I think you will be unpleasantly suprised to see what this auction will close at. Even though they haven't been made in years, they hold their value. They were WAY ahead of their time. Depending on when the software was last flashed, they can also be a pain to use to charge the newer generation of NiMH packs. G

Yah... someone showed me that auction... and was like DROOOOOOOOLING over that thing, so i figured WHY NOT ASK the people in the know! the only thing i had previously heard about the Victor chargers is that the company was no longer and that software updates were done by some guy on the internet!

But the one thing to remember is, you can send your cells out to get rematched at a pretty low price which is pretty reasonable, especially if you're only going to do it every so often. Thats usually what Mike and I decide...either that or we just don't have any money at hand. I believe Surge will do this service for you, their site says they'll rematch and zap a pack (4, 6 or 7 cells) for $13 (non-surge pack).

yah, and i also want to start matching mini cells (gp1100's to be exact)... its just something that i've always wanted to do - and now i think i got enough knowledge..... but then again... who knows... i mean... its like 400 bux for the charger ... 700 for the matcher.... then u need the lables and the printer....

No knock on Steve or his truck, but I suspect your driving may have had a little to do with it ...;)

You might have been even faster if you were driving Scott's Revo. When I look at people like Rob Gross who went from Maxxes to Revos, it looks like a lot of them went quicker.

A good driver with a slow car will always beat a bad driver with a fast car - take it from someone who's had some fast cars, and gets beat a lot!! ;)
