Nick, i installed that race head just now... looks pretty trick! i had to clean out the motor w/ after run oil.... just to make sure everything was ok.... everything looks great, and i hope to have a good run on the truck, and give you a little competition... the tmaxx is pretty easy to drive - its gotta be the 4wd... i got one of them MotorSavers air filters too, as well as the RD Logics pipe, so i got the settings on the carb a little richer... 4 1/3 to 4 1/2 turns.... thats gonna have to be adjusted, i think.... i'd rather err on the side of too rich, than the side of too lean...

I blew My G9 (Tekin) last week and need something comparable to get into buggy offroad. I'm kinda strapped for cash, but hey gotta do it. Aanyone gotta G12 ? or something similar ?

On another note, I now have 2 malfinctioning G9's and no one to repair. I'm on the list for repair with the new owner and have sent and rec'd messages, but no action. I'f need be, I'll go black market.

Any advise ?

well, craig, i wired up your esc, but i need to put a connector on it... i dont want you to install it on your stuff until sunday.... because i dont know if it is gonna work.... plus... i guesstimated the lenghts of the wire.... i think i might have made them a little short... too bad....

Cheese, i will look at yours tomorrow.... i am gonna leave the wires a little longer coming off the battery, and i wont cut the motor wires at all... all i am gonna do is install the deans connector... DONT mess with the wires except to cut the motor ones down, but give it slack, dont cut them too short....

-ToneHey Tone.. . Believe it or not, I was running a Reedy stock. It worked fine the on Practice day. The Brake transistor went south and draws all of the current out of the battery. This is the 1st Tekin I smoked. Maybe I should have the motor checked out. I have a scrap G9 that may have a good brake transistor, but time is not on my side.
