View Full Version : Dirt Runners Outdoor Season 2004
satrnfreak 07-05-2004, 08:28 PM 12L3 i'll let go for $75 roller with a battery. Decent pack but if you are gonna run stock competitivly you will need a brand new pack for the start of the season(every season you will need to buy one).
Adrenaline $100 roller with a battery..
500 dillon $65 roller with battery..
Batteries are the ones i ran last year, since i will be running spec and legends, i dont need 4cell packs.

btw, whats up with the low budget thing all of a sudden?

Hey Mike - I finally got everything out yesterday evening. Besides the parts that came with the kit, I had 2 pair of Trinity Yellow "Congo" springs and 1 pair of Trinty Purple "Congos" (these were THE springs to run on carpet for the Losi before Losi came out with their own stiff springs for carpet racing. (The AE springs are too small for the Losi shocks). 1 pair front, 1 pair rear spare graphite arms, plus extra front arm (total of 3). 118 T and 128 T 64 pitch spurs. Pair of extra front 0* hubs. Spare set of front hubs and front hub carriers.
The car itself is like new, no scratches or dings, never run on anything but carpet (and only run on carpet twice). Body paint scheme is a takeoff on what we run offroad: flourescent yellow/orange flames against a dark blue rear end, with subtle dark purple checkerboard on the rear quarters. Nicely done, but the nose has some dings from the pipes the two times I ran. I have all the manuals, etc, plus the stock unmounted Losi rims and rubber tires. You're welcome to have the foams that are on the car, but they are worthless - dry and some chunks out. The car was 270 new, and I'd like to get 200 for it and the spares. Let me know if you have any interest. Gary

John Tag 07-06-2004, 08:45 PM Hey guys I just got a deal with Mrc/ Academy and im gona do a lot of testing for them and would like to come up there and race I was just wondering instead of coming weekdays all the time if there is anyone looking to run 4 wheel mod. on sunday racedays with me so I can watch changes under the clock. I know 4 wheel mod. has died in the area but its coming back around in the states. Myself and MRC are trying to get 4 wheel mod back and up in the northeast it a great class.
eviltone 07-06-2004, 08:46 PM Ryan, i also have a Hyperdrive 500 dillon tweak car. Was gonna sell that too, or trade. I'll bring them next race and you can take a look at them. I am just not interested in running 10 mod this winter. Wanna run cheap classes(ie SPEC LEGENDS). Anyone else, i have 2 12L3 ovals i may be getting rid of also, one is my 24 car that KICKED ARSE last year, and the other is the one Little Ryan drove. He is moving away and i will no longer need it.....
FreAKinteresting.... hey hall-o-ramma.... u need any Transmitter crystals? i got 2 NEW Tx Crystals for your radio.... channel 90 and channel 66....

John,
I know Galo, and Mark Stern have 4wd's they bring every week, I also know Ricky (Craig and Mike C's friend) has been wanting to race 4wd mod off road. If I ever find a job up that way again, I will get a 4wd and run with you guys as well. Congrats on the MRC deal, and good luck!

Oh good, I forgot you had one too, John. We might have a real good turnout for 4wd off road then, hopefully it gets other people to get them as well, they are the easiest to drive of buggies and trucks...

But the next club race for sure just let me know the next race date. Hey maybe my fellow Surge team members might join in,Jon and Gary.
jdwca 07-07-2004, 07:03 PM Tag, we'll be there for the next Dirt Runners race. It'll be two weeks from this Sunday, AFAIK.
It may coincide with the next ORL. We may want to check on that.
Anyway, after this Sunday I'm probably just going to save my touring for Jackson's touring regional.

wayneny 07-08-2004, 07:18 AM Hey Mike, now you are another year older and wiser. I hope you will still come out and play with your toys. But anyway Happy Birthday Mike. See you on sunday.................WAYNE :jest:
wayneny 07-08-2004, 07:28 AM I want to remind everyone that there is a race at Dirtrunners this sunday the 11th. It seems like we have'nt had a race in so long. :freak: I guess that is because we have'nt had one in three weeks..If there is anyone that can get there a little early I would really appreciate it. We need to do some work to the track and now we are going to start earlier which means less time for maintenence. There is so much dirt up against the wood that all cars or trucks go right over the wall. Both tracks also need to be swept off comepletely. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance................WAYNE
wayneny 07-08-2004, 07:33 AM Another reminder to anyone that might need some parts. Give Ron at CRUZIN R/C a call today to make sure he can get the parts you need and Mary will bring them on sunday. His number is 201-825-4884. Make sure you tell him to send them to the track. WAYNE OUT...........................
