-ToneIts all text based anyways, I never use xwindows without using console windows, everything I do is text comands, however I do see your point...

Even worse than that, is using a unix emulator through windows....now there are problems just waiting to arise...

i actually use something called MKS TOOLKIT in windows that allows me to have a LOT of unix commands in windows.. its awesome.....
i know from experience that the Xwindows is particularly ghey... hardly any of the servers i do have xwindows running... it just dont start... so i just dont care.... ;)
i gotta go back to configuring a server.. i am prolly gonna be pretty quiet today,.....

I think I have some CBT's around somewhere. I don't think they are for beginners though. They are for certification. I heard the Solaris for dummies is a good start (don't let the name fool you).

Does this make any sense to anyone else?? He doesn't have a speed control to run his car, but he is getting a Mini-t? I think i'd want to get at least one thing running before i got another car. And sry Tone and others, but the mini-t thing looks just plain lame. I hope it will get better over time, but right now, the oval 'T' just aint doing it for me.

Went to the track today, well i guess the drains aint doing so well. It is completly flooded. The oval looks nice, but offroad is under water. Oh well......
