Definetly no li-po's, and we are really supposed to be racing big block and small block classes, i suppose it wouldn't be legal....

The rule is NO brushless and NO lipo batts. But those rules are only for racing. If you just want to break the land speed record then by all means give it a shot.

personally, i'd never run lipo's... but the brushless would have to be a "sneak in" in one heat jujst to embarrass the waynemeister.....

It was a wing car class called Spec 15. The class is an entry level wing car class (definately not the big dog class) which uses a spec chassis and a handout race motor. I also race the next class up, Group 12, in the amateur division. Even slow wing cars are pretty fast - at Port Jeff, where the worlds are being run, a Spec 15 does a 2.9 second race lap on a 155' track. By comparison, an open class wing car runs 1.9 - 2.0 race laps!!

Why dont you just buy the MF2 instead of wasting your money and having a MF 1.5

Mike, you already know the answer. It's because that is a rational thought, and Craig surely doesn't think rationally.
