It's the antenna of a very large rc car that is burried back there.
On my way home from work I thought I saw a very very large flag. I must have been tired :freak:

Well George was the pic any clearer that time?? I did some camera adjusting . that was stright from the camera 295 190 pic size it looked pretty small but it was clear. I saw it on the site and it looked bigger then when I sent it. I have the camera adjusted right is that still the size you need .?? oh and I guess you liked my chassis by the winners name idea. lol
P.S. your killing me with the Pacer and Gremlin crap. I wouldn't be cought deadn in one of those P.O.S.'sChris- The last pic you sent me (the one w/the Acer Racing ad) was the perfect size for the "Winners" page. I don't think I did anything to it. I looked at the original size & posted it. I'm planning to keep the winner cars pics on file in case those same cars from the week before win this week, unless they're running a new body/paint scheme.

The antenna is owned by Nextel,as they & JEA have their padlocks on the gate, too for access. Probably for their Emergency Services (fire, police,Butts' beer truck, etc) radios.

yea the more cars the better my times just kept getting better and better last week a 12.0 was my best lap time. pretty good for only my 3rd touring race and iv'e only broken two A arms and burnt up 1 speed control. that only adds up to what $92.00. dang it I got to stay off that wall before it breaks me. :jest:

any body up for branford sunday ? I am going to make the trip. It will be fun to run some nastruck with caps on the trioval.

I'm on Associateds mailing list for their newsletter and on yesterdays issue they announced a new motor brush. The plutonium brush that they tout as made specificlaly for todays hotter winds and batteries. They claim that top level drivers have run them 30 times, Yep I said thirty times before replacement. Oh yeah before you jump on the net to order you up some of those puppies you may want to know that they are going to retail for $29.99 a pair.

What?! $30 bucks for a pair of carbon brushes? There has to be more proffit made on motor brushes than any other single item in r/c racing, Except batteries and they think somebody will pay $30 for a pair of them? I remember when a replacement stock motor retailed for $11 and I refuse to pay thirty bucks for a set of brushes no matter what they're made out of. If the time arises that it takes these brushes to be competitive I'll park my stuff for good next time. Tesla is rolling in his grave as I type this.

Reedy Plutonium Brush. Made of an extraordinary new compound designed to stand up to the heat and streses of top-level touring car racing. They last longer than our standard competition brushes, which translates to less time and money on motor maintenance.pr$29.99http://www.rc10.com/enlarge/777.htm (http://www.rc10.com/enlarge/777.htm)

Dave, Are they for stock motors or what? If you do the math, it all comes out the same. Butt I don't know about pulling them to clean your motors and get a good seat again? Thanks for the info.

Butts(tm)- Yeah,I've got the same email, too. At $29.99,it better be pretty good! And it better glow-in-the-dark,too! lol Might be economical for the team drivers (or someone running mod at a big race like the 'Birds) on a raceday that change brushes every run. I guess it's better to pay $30 for one set that'll last the whole day than 30 pairs they'd change after each run! :drunk: Not too cool for a weekly racer on a budget. I'll keep my $3.99 767's,thanks!

The somewhat bright side, Trinity is no longer offering a steel Spec/Legend axles. They've subbed a graphite axle in it's place (and changed the Trinity Spec rules) that goes for a whopping $8.00 in HW! I may try one on my Pro-Spec car & see how it does.

Ok everyone it's me again. I've decided to sell of some of my stuff and for anyone that knows me or has seen some of the stuff I still have around here thats something I usually do not do.

Batteries, I still have the four pack special on the corrally 3300's. The numbers(which really mean nothing)are 1.169/1.170's with one 1.15v pack thrown in for value. Hey value pricing just like the big discount stores. $60 takes tham all.

My personal 4cell packs four or five of them for $20 a pack. These are the batteries I've been using(not the raffle packs)so If I've outrun you these may be the batteries you've been needing.

Stock motors, Several stock motors that would be perfect for breakout or practice. $10 each.

19t Motors, 3 c2's. One of which has run a 35 4:03.7 in my L4 butt(tm)I'm not telling which one. $15 each. Only 2 left

Chargers, An older but still perfectly working Novak Digi-peak. It'll charge 3300's but doesnt have the adjustable cutof so it may overheat them, It would be perfect for the spec and legends packs. It'll also charge non,ni-mh reciever and transmitter packs $40.

An equal vintage Tekin bc-100L which also was top of the line for its day and still functions as new with the same limitations as the Novak above. $40

Legends car, This is my car and is as run the last time Dave P. and I ran it at the track. Complete with radio(futaba magnum am) speed control and three battery packs. All legal to run at HW as well as the Buttsey colors 40 ford body. $150. Looks like I have a sale pending on this

And now the hardest of all to let go of.

My factory team edition TC3, This car has less than 10 races on it(Ithink) and is ready to race. just add speed control, reciever, motor and steering servo. I'll even throw in all my spare parts and the box they're in. It also comes with a one practice day Buttsey colors Mazda 6 body in one practice day condition
and some spare tires including a full set of in the package foams. $300. and it's yours. I'll guarantee you couldnt build it for that or buy the spares for that matter and I'll even throw in two 6cell 3300's for good measure.

Happy Thanksgiving all you turkeys, j/k. See you all friday. :devil:Happy Thanksgiving to everybody, too! And please be careful on the roads Friday/Saturday/Sunday,as the real 1/1 scale hacking begins! With everybody driving to the malls like they're avoiding the pileup in Turn 2 @ HW in 4-cell 19-turn, it might be a good idea to leave the R/C driving skills at the track instead of the roads. Especially if you're driving near a mall!

DON'T BE THE WRECK ON THE ROADS THIS WEEKEND!

Darn it I'm always the last. Ah but I got another post in. The weather really played a part in everyones slowness lastnight. Even rocketman(Bear)on a clean run could only manage a fast 35 lapper in 19t. Come on daytime racing. You know even when the daytime racing starts the mains will still be run at night. 'Preciate it. Still feel bad about putting my bumper in your door on that last lap. It would have been a lot closer if I'd driven cleaner. On an unrelated topic I'm thinking of changing my screenname to "Ernhardt's Ghost", wha'd'y'all think?
