Well if we dont have enought to race that will piss them off anyway right. I guess we need to find out from the nitro guys who was planing to show on that sat and who are going race rock? I guess someone need to try to get a hold of some of the nitro guys? I dont know any of those guys numbers but maybe bear and others do, so if you know A nitro guy thet is going to come out on the 20th let me know how many are planing to show up. I would hate to wast there time and mine if no body is going to show up.

Like I said before I'll be here in Jax because of my military obligations for that weekend. If it wasn't for that I'd be headed to O-town. We need to go ahead and keep our schedule for Saturday the 20th. Not all of HW locals will be going to race at the rock....just the few well maybe not the few LOL that actually race other places. Our schedule has been put out and the racers will have to decide where to race. Also keep in mind, we are finally having the nitro guys show up to race. Remember the first Saturday race there was another nitro on-road race going on and some decided to race here at HW. We need to support them too so they can come out and help our track. Just my .02 and with inflation .05 :jest:

I agree with Eugene. just because a few of the locals ( the Pedano's and Bear) are going to Race Rock. doesn't mean you should change the race schedule. alot people don't use this board so if you change they'll never know. and if you change you only add confusion. looking at the calander you have theis friday night the 12th them Sat the 20th then firday the 26th. and from what Bear has said starting Dec 4th it will be saturday shows which are the 4th, 11th, 18, then it looks like we'll be off till the 8th of Jan because of Christmas and new years fall on saturday. just my .17 cents

Something ya'll might want to think about ......... Since there are issues concerning the racing for the next 2-3 weeks you may want to consider delaying the start of the points until all are running on the same race surface. i.e. night vs. day temperatures. What you want to do is to continue racing normal schedule so as not to make anyone upset.

I for one will be racing at Stricklands,Race Rock and MinReg over the next 3 weeks. Too many races to choose from. $$$$$$$$

Three gallons of white exterior paint is sitting in the drivers stand. Bring your brushes, rollers, sprayers, etc. so we can at least get the painting done. I dont get off work until 5 so I'll see you guys until then...

David Butts

I think 6 total boards were replaced tonight. Maybe 5 but there less places to break the cars now than there were before. Only board with a hole now is the one where the loop is and since it will have to be removed to install the new loop I left it alone. Got bit by a big black spider while changing a board in the turn 3/4 area and I'm now seeing double and having a hard time concentrating, Oh wait that might be because of a beer shortage in my blood. Or a chemical imbalance?

Anyone interested in going to Stricklands for the race rock warm up this saturday? I know there are a few going already but some may not know about it. They're setting the track to the approximate size of the race rock track this week for the last practice session and it may be attended by some pretty fast guys. What'ya say?

sounds like fun but Anthony's is running an indoor event this weekend in Savannah and the weather looks iffy.

David Butts
11-10-2004, 06:54 PM
Yes I should have mentioned that as well. The indoor asphalt race in Pooler Ga. is a viable alternative that should be considered by all. It is a two day event but could be done by driving up and down both days. With the price of gas these days the motel cost could be justified if split by two racers. Phil Owen can post some more info here or it can be obtained by looking at the showdown on the coast thread elsewhere.

Keep digging!

BTW,how 'bout Stoney..er..Smokey torching his Losi in the infield Friday night! lol As Stoney was laughing it up afterwards,we all looked and there was no damage to the car. As for the LRP speedo.........,can't say much about what's left!

We got rained out. The track was awsome as usually and there was track space. After the rained had stop Mike Bean and crew tried very hard to dry to track for about 30 min. A whole bunch of people was working on the track. Something we should take note. I was very impressed.

Mike Bean and crew thanks again...I am sure we'll be back...

We got lot's of rain in Savannah as well, good thing we were in a building running on a track about the size RRock is supposed to be. For those of you who didn't go and could have, you missed a good race.
