It just doesn't leave enough time for me to keep Katelyn's and my car going the way they should. But like before I will take motors home and bring them back the following week.PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, if you send a motor with me be sure it is marked with your name. I would not want someoneelse to beat you with your own motor. Thank you, Jeremy DEEPBLUE 11-04-2004, 01:23 PM I got the p.t. in to day. I may have gotten a couple extra. I quit!!!! davepull 11-04-2004, 09:55 PM na I can't make it to the pooler race. I am going to Massachusetts on the 19th so money is tight. Just got windows XP reloaded and lost all my stuff including the DSL connection so it's all dial up for me until monday before 12:00 according to some woman named Christina(yeah right)who is apparently in India since she freaked when I told her I was eating a burger, Cows are sacred in India.? Yuck! After hobbytalk posting withdrawls I'll take dial up any day over nothing. Had a great time at the track lastnight. Wow it was like oldschool days with the Hollis's out and actually talking racing now. Ernie Bucci actually racing, Charlie Brown just talking, Bobby Phillips racing, and others too. After all these years I'm still following Ernie but it was fun none the less. I continued my quest to tune my car right out of contention again. I have it down to a science now. The new personal transponders worked great and big thanks should be given to John for forking over more greenbacks than I have to spare on them. After another long roof slide down the back straight, I think it's time to retire the 01 Army Monte Carlo before it becomes a convertible. There's another bright 37 car coming soon. Anybody need a slightly abused "paint by focker" body? Tom Pedano turns a 7.0 lap in stock? Huh? Theres guys in 19t that have never turned a 7.0 lap. Yikes! 34 laps in stock may show up before 37 in 19t. when we first started running 4c stock as a class in January or February an 8.0 was considered fast. Now thats considered a "pull it" speed. Also there were a slew of 6.4's turned in 19t. Turnmashalling those cars is getting scary. Specially in turns 1 and 3 where they come at you full speed at the end of the straights. There just ain't much time to react to that closing rate. Oh well it's off for more coffee for me. See ya at the track. DEI.2 11-06-2004, 04:38 PM . I continued my quest to tune my car right out of contention again. I have it down to a science now. The new personal transponders worked great and big thanks should be given to John for forking over more greenbacks than I have to spare on them. I thought I was the only one to do that lol. A big thank you to John again. I also want to thank Dave and Dave For putting up with all my questions last nite. See everybody next week. davepull 11-06-2004, 06:10 PM Steve first off no question is a stupid question. the only stupid question is the question not asked!!!!!!!!! Anytime Steve. Shumacher 99 11-06-2004, 11:42 PM Hyperslide project went well for a first night. 35 4:04 in the main after fighting motor issues all night was still my best 19 turn race. 35 4:05 was all I could get out of my L4. Man that L4 pushed like a snow plow no matter what I did to it . The hyperdrive with the same set up is super loose. How loose ????? mmmmmm 7 ounces in the left rear loose. well any way...Had a great time. Bear Tom and Steve I'll c ya Tues. rcgen 11-07-2004, 12:13 AM You guys know when the next series is going to start? travymoto1 11-07-2004, 02:37 AM You guys know when the next series is going to start? It starts this coming Fri. Stricklands short track'n is this Sat. as well David Butts 11-07-2004, 10:03 AM It starts this coming Fri. Stricklands short track'n is this Sat. as well Yes sir, Someone could get a racing overdose in the next couple of weeks. This friday, Hobby world point series starts then saturday is stricklands down in Ormond Beach or Showdown on the coast up in Pooler/Savannah Ga. Then next saturday theres the 2nd point series race at HW, Or it's the Race rock race in Orlando at? Yep, Race rock. What'cha gonna do? Decisions decisions. rcgen 11-07-2004, 07:15 PM I was planning to run some touring at Superior today, but didn't get up in time. So I finished installing a two speed in my NTC3. Went to the track this afternoon for some testing and tuning. The car was awsome until I found another hole in the track. Well the hole wasn't there until I hit the wall and now there's a hole. Looks like the lower boards are rotting away and just needs a little hit for it to give way. The NTC3 broke like my losi did right front arms & shock tower. Oval cars beware of the hole between turn three & four. I know some of us (me) like to race at other tracks, I think we need to seriously start working on OUR track. We can pick a night and work on a section at time. It does need to be completed in one night. What do you guys think? I believe the boards are already cut to size, but needs to be painted. I'll buy the paint and paint the boards if hasn't been done. So what color paint: someone let me know. David Butts 11-07-2004, 07:45 PM Well the hole wasn't there until I hit the wall and now there's a hole. Looks like the lower boards are rotting away and just needs a little hit for it to give way. Oval cars beware of the hole between turn three & four. So the two speed made your car fast enough to put a hole in the wall? I agree, If enough show up with cordless drills the walls could be taken down and replaced in no time. White is the color of choice so the boards could be painted beforehand and then installed. The weather is cool enough now so the work will be painless. DEI.2 11-07-2004, 07:47 PM I bring a cordless drill every week. I'll bring some screws so anytime we want to fix it we can. I'll try to remember to through a crow bar in too. David Butts 11-07-2004, 08:01 PM Another thing I noticed friday night is that there is only one light working on the back wall now. Not everyone pits in the bright pit or the chicken coops so maybe a new light or two could be put on the wall for the wallbangers. rcovalracer 11-07-2004, 08:13 PM Legends are also running @ The Showdown On The Coast. (http://www.hobbytalk.com/bbs1/showthread.php?p=902315#post902315) Nov. 13th-14th This is their first annual race,so let's support it.. :) DEI.2 11-07-2004, 08:15 PM Another thing I noticed friday night is that there is only one light working on the back wall now. Not everyone pits in the bright pit or the chicken coops so maybe a new light or two could be put on the wall for the wallbangers. I noticed it also. If I can help hang lites on race day let me know. I think that is part of our track upgrade to get more racers. rcgen 11-07-2004, 08:31 PM Oh those lights been out since the last Saturday night race. Good thing I pitted out the back of my car. I have a bulb for the halogen bulb but keep forgetting to bring it. Shumacher 99 11-07-2004, 08:39 PM For the boards I vote yellow!!! White sucks...hehehehe Shumacher 99 11-07-2004, 08:44 PM Me and Val will be out there around 4 on Tues. If Eugene can make it with the paint that day or drop it off to rook before that.... COOL is the word I am looking for. rcgen 11-07-2004, 08:45 PM Yellow? Isn't the outside line already yellow? I know the break out guys run on the yellow line. You think they will try to run on the boards too? HEHEHE rcgen 11-07-2004, 08:47 PM Me and Val will be out there around 4 on Tues. If Eugene can make it with the paint that day or drop it off to rook before that.... COOL is the word I am looking for. I can do that... DEI.2 11-07-2004, 08:55 PM For the boards I vote yellow!!! White sucks...hehehehe Yeller is what stricklands uses. Yeller is OK with me. :D rcgen 11-07-2004, 08:59 PM So what color we going with? Bear...I see you out there xpss 11-07-2004, 09:01 PM as for lights on the back wall at hobbyworld.at the time i took them done to use on the track in turn 3.(remember the black hole)if somebody wants to put them up there are three in the computer stand that did not work on the track.i am more concerned about the track lighting than peoples pit lights.pit lights are very cheap. as for the walls i agree we need to get them up asap.if somebody wants to buy the paint and paint them go ahead.keep your recept and i will give you your money back when the track fund will allow. we will buy 2 more of the 220 lights that tom m found us to repalce the lights in turn one and turn two. i also want to let everyone know i will not be there for the saturday race this month as i will be in orlando for race rock. i wanna thank everyone for your support and hard work in making our track the best it can be. thanks you race director xpss 11-07-2004, 09:06 PM it doesnt matter to me as long as its bright!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! rcgen 11-07-2004, 09:10 PM OK...you said it...I don't know if you all notice my paint jobs on my cars...I do paint my cars kinda bright...hehehehe.... xpss 11-07-2004, 09:16 PM every other board one florensant yellow one florensant orange.hahahaha rcgen 11-07-2004, 09:20 PM Then I won't be able to see my car and probably Butts(tm) car... David Butts 11-07-2004, 09:23 PM I also want to let everyone know I will not be there for the saturday race this month as I will be in Orlando for race rock. I say we all go to Orlando on the 20th and hit Race rock full force with about 45 racers from Hacksonville. What'ya say Hmmmm? Better yet lets just schedule our saturday race in Orlando. Then everybody will show up. It's a one day race only an hour and a half away if you haul butt(tm). Two hours if you drive like me. DEEPBLUE 11-07-2004, 11:11 PM I guess we need to take a pole on who is going to race rock and who is racing at HW. Poppa Ray 11-08-2004, 12:47 AM I guess we need to take a pole on who is going to race rock and who is racing at HW. Unless the race is cancelled all together i'm planning on being at HW that Sat. rcgen 11-08-2004, 07:44 AM I have military duty that weekend so we'll be racing at HW. irvan36mm 11-08-2004, 08:16 AM I'll be at HW. Another suggestion I have would be to run that Friday night (11/19) instead of that Saturday. Also,we all need to find out when the best day would be to get together to get the new boards up for the walls & general cleanup, etc. -George Shumacher 99 11-08-2004, 08:41 AM I'll be at HW.
