I heard a rumor that friday night two track records fell and not a single mention of it on here? Slackers! Someone tell the whole story or just make up a better one butt(tm) post something. After getting my butt(tm)handed to me on the rug at RPM this past sunday I'm ready for some big asphalt track action.

I've decided to give the Maverick the role of my primary car with the trusty old L4 acting solely as the backup(truck maybe) for the time being. I trust that once again I'll be able to run with the fast guys using this chassis as it's adjustability is nearly unequaled. Could there be some more 19t action for me in the near future? Time will tell.

See y'all at the track.

I'll be in massachusetts this weekend dropping off my dog, I'll make sure to drive by Yankee stadium and laugh at Steinbrenner for paying 25 million a year to A-Rod... lol. sucker... entire payroll of the Milwaukee Brewers is 25 million... Does Schilling remind you of "The Natural" bleeding for the team. Maybe he'll hit one into the lights in St Louie!!

( and hopefuly have them in by the next friday. ) If you can not get me the cash untile friday nov. 5th that will be okay. I will have a drivers meeting about this on friday but please tell all you can that the more I can order the beter. Right now I now I can get them stright from amb for $71.50 and that may go down if I can get more then 10 ordered. I know that alot of you guys may not hane the cash now and if we get another order of 10 later I can do that also. I will still have the regular transponder but just a new set and if it tells you blue 1 you have to run blue one the do not overlap like the old system. I you want more information you can p.m. or p.m. me for my cell number. I also would like to thank everone ( Racers and the great guys that help me on race day. ) for coming out.

On the personal transponder issue. these things are the best thing since copenhagen long cut. it is alittle pricey to get all your cars down but it is worth it.

Hmm? Lights camera action? Uh well maybe some lights, No cameras and just some action. Butt(tm) all in all it was a good night of fun for me. I continue to make progress with the Maverick. I missed my all time best 19t run by a second or two in the second qualifier and I feel as if I beat it in the main but the printer took a dump and no results were printed. Bummer!

The new timing system will be great after the teething pains are worked out(thanks John Hart) as it will be able to provide more information such as practice times(with a personal transponder) and it also keeps track records on file. A new 19t track record goes to Tom Pedano and in the main Bear was on a 37 lap pace before tangling with another car,

I'd like to remind everyone as to just how lucky we are to have a place to race at all as there are some real hotbeds of racing in Florida that only have temporary or parking lot tracks. The old track needs some sprucing up but we still have track and that makes racing more enjoyable. How would you like to have to set the track up every race day only to tear it down immediately after the mains? Nope! me neither.

Well the three or four of you Hobby world/Jax racers that didnt make it down to Ormond Beach lastnight missed out on a whale of a good time. Actually by my count(I had to take my shoes off for this one)there were 11 or 12 racing with a couple more just there. They knew the north Florida gang had shown up to play.

You just have to add this place to a very short list of must race tracks. If you get hungry at the track they have the best cheeseburger and fries I have ever eaten at a race track, r/c or fullsize period. $4.25 got me a fresh off the grill cheeseburger, Large order of really crispy hot fries, a side of good cole slaw and a can soda. They even said thankyou. Whats that all about?

Laid back atmosphere and good friendly people a track thats smooth as glass. Eats tires like a 6 week old puppy chews on socks but smooth as glass. Lights? I forgot it was night they're so bright.

Team Jax(tm) did pretty good down there too. I dont have all the details but I'm pretty sure it was Steve Pedano tq'ing Stock, Dave P. just edging out Tom Pedano by .07 seconds or closer for tq in 19t. And Steve Short I think tq'ed BoLink(what they call legends).

In the mains, Steve pedano finally had used up all his racing luck and got into some early trouble and could'nt make up the time he lost so I believe he finished 2nd. Not bad for a relatively newcomer to 4cell stock racing.

19t. Well lets just say Dave P's hats are gonna fit just a little tighter on his ever growing head as he really ran a good race and pulled off the win.
Tom Pedano loosened up his car just a little to much for the main and that took him out of contention from about the 2nd lap. Bear had run really well too and made his presence known. We need to start calling him rocketman cuz when he hits the trigger at the start, God help whom'ever is in front of him because his car launches like a patriot missle looking for a scud. I think I saw air under the front tires on the start of one of the qualifiers.

All in all that group of guys and gals down there including Team Daytona(tm)are first rate and are a blast to both race and pit with.

With the planned expansion of the FOCARS(no thats not a bad word, potty brain)races next year hitting both Stricklands and Hobby World as well as other asphalt tracks and subsequently fewer carpet tracks it would behoove(that means it would be in you're best interest) y'all to try to get down there to learn other tracks. Until next time. Racers, You have five seconds or less!

evrything will be fine when someone buys the TC3. Bid Dog bought the Rug Rat. man I hated to see it go that car was part of the family.

lowered the price on the TC3 400 bucks for the complete car package. all you need is a futaba radio and batteries. or 360.00 for the car, speedo, servo and all the other extras.

don't let the new TC4 lead you to believe that the TC3 is a bad car and can't compete. i have been told that associated will keep the tc3 in production for awhile and will have plenty of parts.

help a brother out in a time of need.
