Got some good news and bad news. First the bad.
The good news is, the webmaster, myself, will be sitting on my 9'6" T&C longboard in Honolulu for the 13 weeks starting November 1st. I've enjoyed racing with ya'll for the past two years and will hopefully not be gone for too long. I don't even think they've heard of oval over in Hawaii, but I'll find out in a couple of weeks.

I'm glad somebody knows what they are talking about when it comes to legends rules! Butt on the other hand, I don't remember seeing any legends racing at Daytona? :devil:

And you won't see any. The track is not built for Legends racing. Try going to other tracks such as Atlanta and Charlotte. You'll see them and the Indy style cars that run under '600 Racing Program'. BTW the New RCSpecRacing folks have an agreement with 600 to promote both the Legends and Indy type cars. Watching Real Legends run is a hoot. I have a friend that races them and has less in it than his R/C stuff.

Hey guys, Anybody up for a little road trip next sunday? RPM's last FOCARS series race of the year is going to be a good time. Power, Tools, Tables and chairs are all provided. Indoors with A/C too. All the classes(except breakout) we regulaly run and them some are offered. The required motors are available at a real good price too if you dont already own a couple. Nows the time to make the trip, Atleast get ya some motors and a handfull of raffle tickets. Hey, I need a pit person anyway. Ya just never know whats going to happen at a FOCARS race. Katf1sh keeps mentioning a thong run but I hope that stays a rumor.:thumbsup:

allright guys just like Butts (tm) says RPM is a awesome place to race. let me fill you in on the raffle. for 10 bucks you become a focar member you get a t-shirt and 1 red raffle ticket. this 1 red raffle ticket gives you a chance to win the Customworks car kit. a 350 dollar value. then they also have another raffle like ours that has tires some stuff from silva and more plus a KGB car kit.

It really isn't a bad drive down there it takes about 2 hours from my house which is in very very south Orange Park. don't listen to what anybody else has told you except me and butts (tm) ha ha this place is a blast you will have alot of fun. there is alot of stuff in the hobby shop cheap. last time they were giving 30% of retail. and Superior in like 3 blocks down the road and that place is like a RC walmart. they have everything.

hey guys i was thinking about getting rc4less foam tires, but i dont know what color to get. if i am running all purples on trc, are there rc4less tires that are the same. If so are they the gray ones?????

You'll have look at the numbers of the tires to know which is comparable: For example TRC - Purple are 40 shore, RC4Less Tires are the Magenta 40...hope this helps you out.....

Yeah Mike the colors are meaningless. The companies just use colors to identify the shore (firmness) ratings of the foam. I am actually using RC4Less Pink(35) and was using TRC magenta

I've ordered a couple of items from Bruce (rc4less). Very fast delivery and plus I emailed some questions to him and got a reply back and fast.

if i you magenta or pink (rc4less) rears do i use the same on the front or not as soft on the front

My rears and LF are the same. RF are harder.

As everyone may know,Shawn will be leaving us for Hawaii so he could live out his fantasy as Thomas Magnum,P.I.! Complete w/2 Dobies,a Ferrari 240 GTS,access to a helicopter and a pain-in-the-a** housesitter named Higgins!! LOL As I've said before,I'll try my best to keep the site deal going. But in case things don't go as planned,I'll be doing a weekly email report similar to the FOCARS email that Katfish emails out.
