Ray ill bring it on friday for you.....just see me when you get there. Good luck with fixin your cars. By the way i went with the pulsar 2...i had to. Its the new thing out so i didnt want to fall behind on the technogy part.

I appreciate it but my race schedule is bi weekly (heh heh heh he said bi) so the next showing will be the Sat race. Kudos on the charger I think you'll be really happy w/ it. Of everything I've tried LRP is the best an most reliable. Blue is better.
BTW technogy? WehnerRacer got an L?

Man I should be more careful about what and when I say something. I went to Branford today and did all of the above. In almost that same exact order too. Yall should really try to get over there sometime. That place is fun!
Hey, rubbin is racing!

Not starting any politic discussions and way off topic ....but....wow....

http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/news/WA...oolteacher.html

Quote:
(Monmouth Junction-WABC, October 3, 2004) — You might say it is a symbol of the Great American Divide, a teacher putting up a picture of President Bush in the classroom. Some say it is partisanship while others say it is patriotism.

Rita Bianco, Parent: "Children should know their president and their first lady!"
Parents expressing outrage after a teacher is kicked out of her public school for hanging a picture of President Bush next to pictures of other presidents in her classroom.

Shiba Pillai-Diaz, Teacher: "It happened on a small bulletin board near the American flag and also with a poster of the Declaration of Independence."
This is Crossroads South Middle School in Monmouth Junction, New Jersey. On Thursday, there was a back-to-school night for parents of students. Veteran English teacher Shiba Pillai-Diaz says she was shocked when three parents confronted her. The three, insisting the teacher either add John Kerry's photo to the montage of presidents or remove the Bush photo. When Pillai-Diaz refused, she says the school's vice-principal threatened her job which is an act that has parents here fuming.

Paula Sjolund, Parent: "She didn't do anything wrong, and I think that it should have stayed up there."

Pillai-Diaz ultimately removed the entire bulletin board and says School Principal Jim Warfel told her she disrupted the school with her "inflammatory politics". She says he then ordered her out of the building. While she says she is a Bush supporter in her personal life, Pillai-Diaz says she keeps politics out of the classroom. Shiba Pillai-Diaz, Teacher: "There was no political intent, nor was there any political content in that photograph nor on the bulletin board."

School officials would not talk on camera but insist nobody here has been fired. To that, Ms. Pillai-Diaz asks what does it mean then when your boss asks you to hand over the keys and kicks you out of the building? She also says she is not sure if she'll be returning to school tomorrow.

Absolutely ridiculous. I think it's pathetic that we have devolved to the point where the only way people know how to express theit political views is to try and squash and smother opposing views. While I understand completely the logic of having a picture of the current president in a linup of American presidents was not partisan politics I'm sure those that protested did so for partisan reasons. I think anyone who has a political view but is able to express it only by attacking the opposition should shut up and reconsider their understanding of their own view and hold their tongue untill they can express themselves by pointing out the positive aspects of their belief!

How many of you guys are going to make the pooler race in November? And that really sucks about that teacher too! Why would you hang up a picture of Kerry? He is not the president. I remember a picture of President Nixon in one of my classes as a child, it was there because he was the president.

Well I certainly hope so. I'm planning on running the black car tomorrow night. It'd be nice to actually see it on the track. I guess if I ran close enough to the wall I would probably be able to see the silhouette. Right before the crash!

Somebody call Roy Phillips & see if he'll bring his lighting rig back out w/him! Those lights were really good, but would have been even better if they were pointed either down further or have it lit from the frontstretch out.

Have ya ever wondered what the "Unofficial Hobby World website" would be like if Snoop Dogg did it? Here's a sample of the home page using the "Snoop Dogg Shizzolator",as suggested from another Hobby Talk thread:

SATURDAY RACING OCTOBER 16th, know what I'm sayin'? BE THERE!!!! TRACK RECORDS ARE FALLING." Recently both Dave P 'n Steve lowered da Stock 'n Pro-Spec records respectively."

August 27, 2004

PEDANO's, PEDANO's, PEDANO's everywhere n' s***. What a night, know what I'm sayin'? The quickest brothers around take TWO track records in one night n' s***. Tom returns da 19t record da crib team by beating da infamous Mike Boylan's 19t record n' s***. Tha dude ran da same Ultrabird hand-out motor that Boylan ran in tha dude's record, know what I'm sayin'? His lil'bro Steve Pedano takes Lambert's short lived track record in Pro-Spec." Dave Puliafico, Tom Pedano, 'n Travis Adams are duking that shiznit out fo' stock supremacy, know what I'm sayin'?

Those 2 lights on the turn 3 pole are the old ones. the new lights are in turn 1 the middle of 3 and turn 4. when Boylan first came up i went up to change out the bulbs on those lights. the one that points down the superstretch is all rusted and the bulb actually fell out a couple of times.

I have an idea if the lights on that orange stand come off in a way that they can be hung up in 3. we can tape a long piece of pvc to the pole and set the lights in it like they used to @ the First Coast Off Road Track.

Has anyone heard how Chris randall is after his light fell on him friday night. I know he went for stitches but are his eyes allright too? That was a bad situation and I hope that everyone that sets up a tent or other pit area will look at their setups with more safety in mind. That could have been anyone including some of the little ones that are out there as well.

I think the whole track area(anything inside the fence)could use a little policing as well. There's an awful lot of stuff to trip and fall on around the track. Especially the pvc dump/snake mating grounds? next to the transponder area of the drivers stand. If we can get a work day group arranged it would'nt take long at all to knock all the stuff down if say 10 or 15 people with weedeaters and other "weapons of grass destruction" showed up.

We all know by now that the track will not clean it'self up so we'll have to do it. I for one would like to race in a cleaner more professional looking environment and the offer for some of the entry fee's to go towards the track and surrounding areas repair/improvements is a step in the right direction by the owners.

I know some people feel as if they are above emptying trash cans and such but I've seen some of the guys at the track that wont walk the 10 feet to the nearest trash can and just throw their trash on the ground. ? That just amazes me. I'm I'm not easily amazed.

Oh yeah I officially dub october to be "wrecktober" after the last couple of race nights. Just wait "slowvember" is right around the corner.
