davepull 09-14-2004, 12:17 AM hey guys if you having trouble with what gear you have prs has posted a simple solution
JCOVALRACER.................
Send me an e-mail with the sizes you are interested in. Of coarse it is your choice to switch, but to switch because a gear is stamped? Until you receive your stamped spurs there is a very simple way to check your PRS spurs for tooth size.
Measure the outside diameter of the spur then multiply it by the pitch and then subtract 2.00 and this will give you the tooth size of that gear. You will need to round the decimal up or down depending on the spur.
Here are some examples:
1.842 (OD gear size) x 64 (pitch) = 117.888 - 2.00 = 115.888 or 116 tooth.
1.904 x 64 = 121.856 - 2.00 = 119.856 or 120 tooth
1.970 x 64 = 126.080 - 2.00 = 124.080 or 124 tooth
I hope this helps and send me an e-mail: tony@precisionracingsystems.com

Yes George those were the NEW RC4Less tires. I have been testing them for almost three months on both asphalt and carpet. They will be available October 1 in 1/10th scale to start with. 1/12th scale should be around by first of the year in time for SnowBirds. Stop by and take a closer look ( not you Dave P. ---- J/K ) at them.

Since you apparently have NEVER been on an R/D team you would not know that you put product out there and listen for comments. You did not read and understand the point that I made regarding not revealing Mfgr as yet.
Race more around country and maybe you'll get a chance to work on R/D for a company. Come by and take a look. I'll have a bag full for all to look at. :)

That makes sence....I'm sure Bruce didn't want 100,000 people emailing in before the tires were close to being available. I saw the anouncement on his site just a day or two after I saw'm on your truck at HW and put 2 and 2 together.
The way I drive... might get paid NOT to run'm..LOL

irvan36mm 09-18-2004, 12:31 AM George did you ever get around to my everham 1 #'s. for the truck??Chris- I'm on it! I'll have them Saturday.
Another thing about Team Drivers testing new stuff- A lot of those guys won't or cannot say much about the stuff they're testing, due to contractual obligations to the mfgr's. They're usually busy getting data from track and race-testing,then reporting back to their sponsors regarding changes that needs to be made. Do the back & forth feedback thing w/the sponsors for a couple of months along with your teammates and pretty soon, there may be a new product hitting the shelves if every thing checks-out positive. If the product flops during testing, none of us may ever see it.

David Butts 09-19-2004, 01:57 PM For everyone thinking about the Florida oval series race at RPM this coming saturday. Katf1sh says they have the required motors in abundance at $25 for the stock and $30 for the 19t versions brand spanking new. At those prices y'all should drive down for just the motors. But stay and race just because you're there already anyway.
Dave P and I will be leaving from the Butts(tm) family palatial estate around 0500 saturday and taking the back way to I-95. Dont worry if you've never run carpet before dont sweat it. Your hobbyworld setup will work just fine. Tires and all.
Did I mention the raffle? I think I heard rumors of lotsa tires, A 10th scale oval car kit, Bodies and a whole lot more. Between the motors and the raffle how can you go wrong?

New92 09-20-2004, 07:42 AM I dont know what to do....:( Not being able to race is sucking...thats why I dont go up there because it really stinks then. But, at the moment of bringing home about $500 dollars a month less than I made last year. Then having to double pay on daycare the past month because of the way those flexible accts work....well, let's just say I was going through the RC stuff this weekend seeing what I could sell to fund the racing soon.
:( Hopefully, one day I will be able to come back out.
