Bear Looks Like We Should Try And Practice Tomorrow. Raining Like Crazy Over Here. Weather Looks A Little Better Tomorrow
yea tommorrow it is!

I think what Bear has come up with is a wonderful idea. the one thing that will be tough is making sure the word gets out so enough people show up.

Shawn after watching your car hit the wall like it did friday night I think you are used to working.

I vote for Saturday as a wash out night for the Friday. Count me in. If I were an out-of-towner I would pray for rain every Friday.

Come on dave, I want to see a " :) " or a " ;) " after you comments on here or there's gonna be trouble ;) lol. Yes, my rx. is causing me a lot of headaches as of late. I'll be fixed up by this Friday I hope. Tim Deegan says 30% for Friday.... swweeeeeeet. Time to get that track record back from Jason. I better check my roll-out and make sure its exactly like his he he.

Making the wash-out day non-points, I don't think as many people will come. I vote points. Out of towners, sorry.

No Breaks....what are you all talking about? What about the guys (me) who races multiple classes, crew chief son's car, breaks a t-plate at least once a night, run back to back heats....its more pressure now with the breaks....hmm get home early before midnight...I like the idea...I gotta to try it at least once and I'll let you know...

Is it Friday yet? Haven't raced in three weeks..... :(
I thought the same thing. I ran mutiple classes and had enough time, but I didn't break anything either. That could change things.

i was thinking that if it rained out the races on friday night, then there are a lot of guys who would come back out on saturday and try again.we can make it a non points night so you dont have to come.but you could still race that weekend.we can dicuss it and see what we come up with. bear
That sounds good to me, as long as it's not for points.

I think too many people have stuff going on to change at the last minute. No points on Sat. is my vote, I might even manage to show up. Thats my 2 cents.

Chris if you are going to practice if the car is tight take 1/4 turn out of the right shock at a time.

An elderly couple was on a cruise and it was really stormy. They were standing on the back of the boat watching the moon,
when a wave came up and washed the old woman overboard.

They searched for days and couldn't find her, so the captain sent the old man back to shore with the promise that he would notify him as soon as they found something.

Three weeks went by and finally the old man got a fax from the boat.
It read: "Sir, sorry to inform you, we found your wife dead at the bottom of the ocean.
We hauled her up to the deck and attached to her butt was an oyster and in it was a pearl worth $50,000...please advise."

The old man faxed back: "Send me the pearl, and re-bait the trap!"

It started out 7.9, 7.9, 7.9, 8.0. with a monster 34 104. I took out some tweek put in a p2k (just to try it) 38 104 7.6, 7.5, 7.7 ,7.5, 7.6 Then I played with gearing on the p2k because it was like ice cold after a 4 min. run. 40 104 and it was poop after that. even when I went back to the 38 104 on the 3rd run on a fresh cut motor the car couldn't find a 7.5 sec lap to save it's life. 8.0, 8.0, 7.9 ,7.8 ,7.9. I f-in hate stock racing at this point.and that L4. Yes I would like some cheese with my wine thank you....

Today's News

Three men who were lost in the forest were captured by cannibals. The cannibal king told the prisoners that they could
live if they pass a trial. The first step of the trial was to go to the forest and get ten pieces of the same kind of fruit. So all three men went separate ways to gather fruits.

The first one came back and said to the king, "I brought ten apples." The king then explained the trial to him. "You have to shove the fruits up your butt without any expression on your face or you'll be eaten."

The first apple went in... but on the second one he winced out in pain, so he was killed.

The second one arrived and showed the king ten berries. When the king explained the trial to him he thought to himself that this should be easy. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8... and on the
ninth berry he burst out in laughter and was killed.

The first guy and the second guy met in heaven. The first one asked, "Why did you laugh, you almost got away with it?" The second one replied, "I couldn't help it, I saw the third guy coming with pineapples"

I made it out to the track last night with the new rx. Got the car hooked up a bit more so I should have something competitive tonight in Pro-Spec. I want that track record back. :)

If anyone is needing a oval car chassis, I'm selling my L4. It includes Wolff 1/8" front axles, a full set of Wolff standard and progressive springs, Futaba servo, a spring-steel T-plate, and a new set of TRC tires.

It also includes a lot of spare parts, including 2 regular T-plates, spur gears, etc. I'll throw in a bag of Spec tires, 5 Spec batteries, and a Spec motor too.

$200 gets it all!

Yes I believe the trucks did just fine. They look pretty realistic too without that big wing sticking off the back. Hmm? Trucks at hw? How long now before someone wants to run 12th scale 19t on the big track? Truck racers you guys did good and Stoneys comments sum it up. As long as y'all had fun it was worth the extra time it took to run the class. Of course thats just my opinion and that and fifty cents could'nt get you a cup of coffee anymore.;)

Well everyone, I had a really good time again lastnight. My car was a a hundred and eighty degrees away from the way it drove(A turdle)last saturday night. Thank God!. I guess the month and a half break took its toll on my driving because I still caused a couple of wrecks(sorry Dave P. and Terry Arnold if you get on here)and got involved in a couple more that I could usually avoid but all in all my speed was back to where it was before the break.

Oh my! Was Tom Pedano cruising in 19t or what? I dont know if any of y'all got to watch his car but that thing was dialed. A 36 4:02 with traffic? That only means one thing to me. Theres a 37 lapper lurking in there somewhere.

Spec guys were all fast too. Did the opening up the tire rules make that big of an difference or is it the new spec motors? Either way it seems to me that everyone is faster.

In stock, Newer racer and all around nice guy Travis Adams(?) proved you dont have to be the fastest car on the track to finish well. In the wreck fest main he stayed clean and clear of all the mayhem finished a strong third.

Oh yeah I guess I should fess up. Chris Garland beat me in the main, Enjoy it while you can Chris! Arrgghhhh!

We also had another really old timer show up to race. Roy Phillips, He won 30 lap breakout over last weeks innaugural winner JP Snyder.

Any body notice crocodile dundy aka Troy Meridith in stock? That was his first time racing in over ten years and with a car that was virtually finished in the pits before and during the racing he did good. I raced with he his older brother and his dad Dennis many moons ago and I have some stories that cant be put on here. Look out for them. They dont show up to be a field filler.

Am I leaving anything out? Oh yeah I'd put money on it but that comes with being 43 years old and growing up in the seventies. Dude! Pass the dorito's

08-28-2004, 12:42 PM
Hey Dave don't be to hard on yourself i do remember that 17 car driving up and over you. It was a great night of racing The Pedano Brothers stole the show Steve put 2 seconds on the spec record and Tom lite up/ smashed/ shattered the 19T record by over 3 seconds. his card is dialed. or as TP says on stilts.

I tryied out the new 2 mag bianary stocker. it felt stong I just need to find the gear for it. it did mange to rip off a 7.1 and few 2's and 3's

over all it was a good night of racing so when will we see 37 laps in 19t and 33 laps in stock ????

you all are in trouble if tom gets his program back to the way it was at thunder! the man can be blazing fast..he and mike boylan can set up shoes boxes with enough time! i'm kinda glad to hear tom is fast yet again..but on the other hand if he travles to other tracks i may have to race him? yikes! 2 races and no fights? i'm disapointed..lol j/k good job guys!

Howdy Mr. Kat. Glad to hear you didnt get too much damage and my condolences to Rich for his. Oh yeah Tom Pedano is smoooookin! He retook the 19t record lastnight twce if anyones counting and he's on pace to get the stock record too. He was coming down for the rpm series race but Mr. Charlie kinda spoiled that fun.

Hey guys for some reason the radio and local news seem to not be mentioning the fact that we now have another hurricane coming our way. The national weather channel guy this am was very adamant that this one is a real threat to our area directly since it will not hit land before it gets here if it does'nt change course. Projected path is to hit between just above Daytona to just below the Fl. line before the weekend. can you say we're in the bullseye? Please everyone be prepared.
