I am sorry that the truth hurts. I am just a totally basis person who came to watch the racing to see what it was like. I told it like a saw it. I think it is wrong that nothing is being down to this John guy. it is also wrong that the guy with the 17 car and this Butts guy won't race anymore. How many more people will you guys run off before something is done? I also think it is wrong that everybody is telling me to stay out of it. It is a free world still right? Anyways I'll take my business elsewhere you guys have fun.
By the way this was one of the last races of the night it still suprises me a spectator being there that late . It was like 1230 at night, we don't want to be there that late and we're racing.. I met a couple of people that night that were watching . I am terriable with names though. What did you look like? Were you with someone? what did they look like. Just tring to put the name with the face (maybe we met). Also what were you doing that close to the drivers stand right after the race? Spectators normally stay where the spectator seats are (Why they stay there I don't know). There are a ton of great guys that race up there people that you don't know or pleasure of knowing I should say. Just strange I was sitting right there and you stated more than I could remember. If you ever come up there again ask For Chris I would like to try and change your mind about racing at HW fine facility. ;)

Driver13, we were at the race that night and it was my 8 year old that this happened in front of. It was a bad thing and should not happen but sometimes it does no matter what type of pastime you participate in. I have been in several fight about softball games, and those guys have bats! All joking aside, I have raced a few times at HW and will continue to do so, we are 4 hours away but we make it once in a while. The first couple of times we went we were treated badly and felt we should leave before it got ugly but it was the same person both times and that person is no longer there. If you like good competition and playing with little cars and radios don't turn up your nose at everyone, go racing! I don't know everyone there but I have met and raced with most of the guys there and have interacted on this board with them as well, good bunch of racers. You will accomplish nothing but cheating yourself out of a good time by saying "I will take my business elswhere". I might even go back soon if John promises not to play his phone into the PA, lol.

Disclaimer: I have my own track in Macon to Promote and run and have nothing to gain by saying the above. Sometimes people just need a break.

So... who won. How did the Ga. boys runJerry- Phil went "Bear Hunting" & succeeded w/approx 5 laps to go to take 19t A-Main. Clifford took 19t B-Main.
I openly apologize to Cliff for beating & banging on him in the B-main! There were 2 orange cars in the "B" & I was trying to pass the "other" orange car. Apparently,the other car I was trying to pass w/o getting wrecked had already got out & I thought Cliff was that car. (They all look alike when at speed!) Anyways,I apolgized to Cliff after the race & I want to do it again here. He seemed to be pretty cool about it. We all make mistakes,then move on to the next race! I look forward to racing w/ Cliff & the rest of the bunch again very soon!

( I had to step back to see his point and I understand and sorry but just like everone else I am only human. George, now I understand what you were saying after the race, duh. I just thought it went like a regular race, anyhow we had fun!

If there wasn't any type of drama at hw at least once a month the racing would be too boring and we'd have a weekly routine. It happened...parties learned from it...racers choose to race or not...visitors observe and come back. Get those TOY cars ready and if you don't have one get one and Race Race Race :thumbsup:

points are up, will be back for july 11th, no updates to site until that race. ;( I hope it doesn't rain the next two Fridays...

I live 5 minutes from the track, so I know where I'll be racing every Friday. If I had been witness or involved in what had happened, I might not be racing their anymore, but I wasn't. The owners of the track need to make the call on this whole situation. Obviously its in their best interest to get more people to come out and race. IF John is in the way of that, they should do something about it. I don't think apologizing on the thread and in person can hurt, but it changes NOTHING. A few have already said they aren't coming back. That sucks, no matter how you look at it or try to explain it away. This r/c stuff shouldn't even be legal its so fun, so the fact that they are giving up doing it so close and convienent says something about the seriousness of what happened. I know if it happens again and it doesn't turn out as well, that's not going to be good for HW.

I hope they don't close their doors. They have an awesome facility. But in truth, I don't see how they stay in business. They have that large facility to A/C, practice is cheap, they have a huge inventory of R/C car parts, and they charge fair prices (about 10% lower than Superior, which is just a couple miles down the road).

I was hoping they'd succeed and build RPM2 up here in Jax some day!!

Since most of the Jax guys read this post---- RPM will hold its last club race monday night.After that-it's done.Got some good deals of Monster motors-TRC tires( the sale starts monday night at 6pm.- just call). The FORCAR oval series will have some major announcements this week.Since RPM is closed there is a possibility of a Super Regional coming to several places. I've got to talk with the other region director involved.This too should be announced sometime this week.And if you have a Associated L4 talk to Butts for the set-up.He set mine up (and you know how much I race oval) and it handled great.Thanks Butts!

I can't use my front bumper if you're behind me :p I think I am close to finding the magic number (them sorry monsters) so I'll be more competitive in stock plus replacing the front bearings, lowering the rear end, raising the front end and trimming the body doesn't help either :eek:

Every now and then I get a feeling about a driver that's about to shake off the bad stuff and have good fri. night race. Last week George was my pick but he let us all down when something broke in the front end early in the A-main. Oh well can't be right all the time .(just most of the time). So this week I think George will rebound and have the fri. night he was suppose to have last week. Everyone WATCH OUT the red dodge is coming through...lol. I won't make the races this week so if you do have a good night post up george and let me know. Even though I know your gonna hhahahahhahahahahhahahahhah :thumbsup:
