Yes it has been unusually quiet on here. Anyone practicing tonight? Not me as I really have to start getting some things ready to move. Less than two weeks left at this address and I'm really gonna miss my air conditioned garage with lights and workbench/shelves everywhere. I made to the track last night, Tom, Jason, Jeremy, Bear, Brad, Earl were testing and tuning. The track was really fast last night, the temp cooled and there was a nice breeze. The humidity wasn't bad and it almost felt like Spring time again. Should be great conditions tonight if it holds.

And after all that work, not gonna make it tonight... oh well.. no excuses. I'm going to try and make it to watch the mains.

Congrats to Steve Short yesterday for winning and TQ-ing 4-cell stock. Took me all race to catch him after my 5th place starting spot. When I fianlly did catch him I was such in a hurry that a spun us both out. Oh well! can't win um all..It was fun racin ya though Steve.

Where is the Dave Butts (tm), report from last nite? Hopefully he'll do it this weekend. I remember last nite he mentioned he was working today. Looking forward to reading his re-cap of the night!

First off I would like to apologize for the language I used on friday night it was uncalled for and I take full responsibility, but I will not be belittled by anybody and I would hope that most of you will understand that. If you would like to talk to me you may call me @ (???) ???-????. ( I stay up till 1:00 or 2:00 am every night. ) I may not always do things the right way but I will stand up for myself and frinds no matter what.... I also think that on the track or on any thred if you do not have anything nice to say than you do not need to say anything at all. I try to encourage all racers to do well and give them my advice when asked, but I try not to be negitive about the way they race or set up there car. If we can not be helpful to each other in a postive way than we need to mind to our own racing. I will be open to any of youguys that would like to talk to me the number is above and hope to talk to you soon or see you on friday.

I have been out the past two friday nights to watch the racing and I got to see the above mentioned incident. from my vantage point I saw and heard the whole thing. I don't not know the names but I take it that the bigger guy with the white shirt and longer hair is the person above John the race director and the guy with the 17 car was a racer. This is my take John ( I love that Dave Despain guy on speed). You told that racer to shut his f$#@!() mouth and to stop whinning then that racer told you to shut up and you let off with some more bad language and followed it with come on lets go. You challange him to a fight and got in his face that racer said something like it was not a big deal these are toy cars and you told him to pack his more foul langage and get out.

The way I see it is you belittled that racer first with all the foul langage which also offened me. then you challange him to a fight. You were very wrong and caused all of this. that racer handled it better than I would have. I where I come from you would be asked to leave and not come back and you being an employee of Hobby World makes it worse.

Like I said the first time I saw the track I liked it but then I went to the last to races and saw this the first night I watch 1 round and was not impressed with the way it was run you John were burping in the PA system and playing ring tones from your phone which I thought was very inmature. and to top it off you guys started late. I was not impressed.

The second night was much more of the same only with the Race director trying to start a fight. so I will say this, I was going to buy a oval car and race but I think I'll take my business else where as long as this guy is running things. Are there any other tracks in the area?

I told him to go not lets go so please get it stright. And I did not have any conflicts the week befor so once agian get you story stright.

The problem is people blow things out of proportion from the get go. Everyone should just remember we are all out there to have fun. If you are not having fun dont do it, its as simple as that. I could care less about other people's drama as long as their is someone out there I am happy.
Ted, its your perogative if you dont want to go out to HobbyWorld. But I dont think its too cool to start new threads bad mouthing the track when you have been there 2 times. I have only been racing about 4 months but I have been going to the track alot longer than that and I have never seen anything even remotely close to drama a side from Friday night. People have tempers and they let them get away. John, came on here and apologized. People should let it go.....remember its toy cars and we are adults....

As far as the PA system, the last 2 nights have been the only times that has happened and the way I took it was a roundabout way to get on the turn marshall's nerves, or at least get their attention so that we could start the next race. Thats why it always takes so long to get started, no one wants to do their duty and marshall.


Oh well, I dont really care as long as someone is there to race. But people need to let the name slinging go....

My God people this is suppose to be fun. I pit in John Harts trailer and he has always been a nice guy and willing to help me when ever I needed it. Dave Pull is a friend of mine who hang out with off the track and also has been very helpful to me. I hate this crap going on right now and I won't take sides because I'm friends with both but I wish we could get this settled and get back to racing and having a good time. I know some $hit was said that you can't take back and everyone might not agree with how the races are run. But everyone is missing the point. IT'S FOR FUN! It's not suppose to be a place of stress ( I get that at home) We run late most nights not because of John Hart but most times It's because insted of pulling your car off the track and taking out your transponder and getting ready for turn marshling we all take our sweet time and go back to the pits, unhook our battery ,talk about how that race went with your fellow race mates and by that time we have screamed for turn marshals for 10 min. It's not one persons faultthat we run late , we all could get out earlier if we all do our part. I love racing at HW and I like just about everyone up there ,Except that Chris Garland guy and his goofy a$$ brother..Lets just have fun and stop tring to makle it stressful on anyone.

This is basicly a tape recording of what actually happened along with the "thats it, Come on lets go" I've stayed quiet until now but as a close witness to the whole exchange of words and actions from both parties involved. I'ts doubly bad that a newcomer Ted says his say and then he's told to stay out of it. ?? People, This guy apparently had a better view of it then I and I was only four feet away. Ted, Thanks for your view on this ridiculous turn of events that happened at a place I have had many good times over the last almost twenty years.

If it had not been for John Pilgrims intervention there's no telling what may have happened and for that I salute mr. Pilgrim.
