Rain sucks. Wish i would have hung around to see if it would have stopped. What time did ya'll end up finishing? I had to be up early Saturday and figured it would have been a late one once the track dried. Congrats to the winners last night. I've updated the points standings on the website, thanks George for getting them to me so quick. Sounds like everyone who would normally race at Stricklands isn't going to be there and are racing at Minnreg in Tampa so I'm going to stick around town next saturday. my niece turns 1 y.o. and another kid I know turns 30, gonna have to stick around town and do some partying.
I'm also going to add FASTEST LAP to each of the recrods page for each class. So if anyone knows what they are for each class or might have the time sheet, let me know.

Will bring my camera with full battery next time to get some pics of all the new bodies, hopefully mine will be one of them. Going with the 04 mcallister monte. I need a little more front end downforce, hopefully will help my car a little.

I miss my 6-cells.... even if they were only 1600mAh ;)

I mean the all time fastest lap for each class. I know Billy Bruce drove a 6.5 the other night. Pro-Spec, I ran a 7.0, and I think Stock might be in the 7.3 range, not sure though. Legends and Touring as well. I will add them to the records page.

there were alot of guys at the track today getting in some track time. me a nd chris mason want to get w/ the other touring guys and discuss at change on the in field. maybe take out a couple of turns or a new design. chris and i made up a new one today we would like some input on this from the touring guys.thanks

Changing every points would be a bit much. But I thgink keep changing it until we get it where it is the best layout and leave it. get rid of the pvc for paint and discs.

Howdy everybody. I havent been on here since saturday morning and no I didnt do the usual novel-like race report. I did have a good time but the track changed so much from practice to the qualifiers and then after the rain delay and again for the mains. I dont think anybody really got a handle on it. Bear came close with the only 35 lap run for the win in 19t.

Chris Garland wins his first try at oval points racing in stock.

Katelynn Kents car won in legends(I predicted that last week:))

I think Chris Randall won pro-spec with a rent-a-ride.

After deciding on friday night to not go to Branford to race I got a wild hair on saturday morning and loaded up and headed out. Bear I called around to get your number but no one I knew had it. Well Just like at hw on friday I was outhandled and outrun in 19t at branford, I actually turned less laps on my best run than the last time I was there and ran stock. Go figure?

On a brighter note, There is next friday on the asphalt, Now if I can just find the speed I had a week ago when all the competition was in town I'll be back to normal.

Well I think BIG RED will be ther the 18th as well to get our "Butts" tm kicked again. Then it's on to Branford Saturday for a little more night racing on caps. I still think 50 laps is possible in 19t. If not, a fast 49 is surely in the cards. I hope you guys that were over last time can make it again. I will be trying to get some other guys down from Mobile and Pensacola to run 19t with us. "Butts"tm I will gladly trade set up info for HW in exchange for set up help at Branford. It's more fun when every one is fast and on the same lap.

Track2 looks good. Do you have any idea how wide the lanes will be with those layouts?

lanes are going to be somewhere in between 8 and 10

Sounds like the 18th is warming up to be another good night to try and make the a-main ;) I think it was a very low 34 to make the main on the 28th, something only a about 6-7 locals had done even once prior to that?!?!?!!? Can't wait.

Thats pretty much about the exact same thing I had drawn out on a pice of paper here....just using the front straight and turing around the little oval ...with the chicanes and alll.....see you are learning, great minds think alike lol.
