exit 59 it was as close as I could find this late

That's not bad. Only 7 miles from the track. If it's the exit I think there's plenty of places to eat.

I know the trailer would be expensive but we wouldn't have to pack every night due to weather and stuff. ya'll just let me know. The motors i've been playing with are just 64 power and 16000 rpm and 950 torque @ 0 degree. Todd said he had alot more when he was there so 19 turn may sux for me. I'm still going to play with them some more though.

Don't worry about motors will I have some good ones to loan out if needed. Not sure what brushes I left in that motor but Bill's Pro 1 brush and the putnam x's are real good.

sounds like you guys are going to have a blast. state race here would be fun , but you would have to redo all the power and box to handle that many people, pluse invest in a new transponder system, probably personal(which wouldnt be a bad idea). it would be fun though. also rewire the lights.

mclake
06-16-2004, 01:34 PM
Hey left turner, are we going to redo the power, I work for an electrical engineer and I was talking to him, he said that he would be glad to draw something up for us telling us exactly what we need around the tracks and how the best way to lay the system out. I will have to have some help one day and draw the site out, he said that he could even help on the lighting if needed. its just a thought before he install the new panels. let me know what you think

Michael

Lake that would be great. (3) 13 amp light on each pole, 6 total for a 78 amp load just for the main lights. (8) 20 amps plugs on a new plug board by turn 1 of the dirt. (4) 20 plugs at the asphalt track. all 12 plugs will be on there own 20 amp breaker. some extra slots for close to the panel. 2 poles 20 foot out of the ground also.

well, im going to look around the school were tearing down for a 200 amp box. well need to figure up how many feet of wiring to do it all ,i know theres a few thousand feet of conduit from 1/2 in. up to 3 in. in the tunnels under the school. the wiring well just have to see about. once they bring in the dozers it will all be gone.

Got Juice,

My company does electrical also. We have scrap wire, conduit, etc.
We also have benders, heaters, and various other tools. I'm sure my
father-in-law has no problem in donating them. And I'll give time too.
Just let me know.

BA that sounds good, we all need to have a meeting soon and get some things talked out. I will try and get over to the sit and map out the site plan. I want to get the correct wire sizes so we don't have a voltage drop at the plugs

Saturday Night @ the Bull ring.
Crete is the action. Will 43 be turned or will the 42/4:01.5 stand in Nascar? If we have a shower I'll still be there. We'll dry it and run just like last weekend. I hear Touring is going to be fast also.

Extreme,

I see that you are on here, did you not go to the track?

I've been working all day.

Hey, thanks for the fries last weekend, Payton gets fed, I promise.
We went to La Fiesta later that evening and she ate half of my
plate and a bowl of cheese dip and chips. She eats good for a 3 year old.

I guess it's 10:30, maybe you guys are done :freak: been a long day.

How many, if any, of the crete guys are planning on going to Jackson next weekend, June 26, for the state race. It will be two tracks run, asphalt touring car track, and the concrete oval. Since I don't own one of these cars, I get to go watch. Would really like to see a good turnout for the oval.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the dads out there!

06-20-2004, 11:33 AM
Same to you Sanders and all the other DADS.

B4 I don't think anyone from here is going to the State race but I think several are going to the regionals in Sept.

Tony won Nascar.
James won Trans and Touring
Bill won F1's. I'll have to check but I think bill broke the track record.

how'd your weekend go?

b4wizard
06-21-2004, 12:13 AM
Where are the region 3 races going to be held for oval?
Is anyone from there going to those? You do know that if they do, can't come to region 6.
That is, if someone runs 19 turn there, can't come here and run 19 turn. But if that was the only class they run, could come to region 6 and run stock.

BA I did not race this weekend. You going to get you an electric truck so you can come and sling some dirt with us.

Mclake,

You know I would love to have a truck to run with you guys. It's a whole
new learning curve and that costs money. I know I would get plenty of
help from you guys.

Got Juice,

Thanks for the tip. Looks like D has his eye on it. I believe that's the truck
I was told about a few weeks ago, I just didn't move on it because of funds.
I really enjoy the gas truck. If I stay serious about this hobby, I'll have to
get one (electric).

hey tony, since its dirt this weekend and your gone the next and when you get back its dirt again, are you going to run both tracks for either dirt weekend? also that regional race in sept. is 19t fixed 0 or adjustable?

mclake
06-22-2004, 06:58 PM
my 2 cents worth, I think that we need to have just a couple of dirt runs, its been raining on all the other one and there are a few that would like to run just dirt for a few weeks. I enjoy the crete don't get me wrong but its hard to do both and it gets so long and there are some that want run the dirt when the crete running the dirt is where it all started. This is just my 2 cents and I will be there if we run dirt, crete or both that just me but I would like to see those run the dirt when we have both tracks running. Thanks and good evening.

Chris thanks for the price and I want to talk to you. I will give you a call tomorrow or come by there.
