After hearing ya'll voice your opinions on the matter, I can see where you are coming from. Plain and simple its a truck body. I'm glad you are sticking to your guns, so to say, because if it was here nothing would have been said about it. I think here what defines a stock buggy is the wheels and tires. Just as long as the track gets your $10, you can show up with a lexan wing only for a body and be called a buggy or anything else.
So if I or anyone else, shows up with a GrandMotorsports truck conversion, with a tranny, offset chassis and all, will they be OK for truck class. Or have ya'll specifically said off-road truck rules only. If so, thats cool to. There was some that ran here before.
I'm just trying to see what I can improve on with what I have and what to expect when I visit with ya'll and nothing more.

SHHHH Tommy :D Your giving away all my secrets for truck What do yall think I was going to bring the next time I show up there in Meridian. Got to have some fun even with that 7 double I have been saving.

Tony, Would you go by MAC's and order this for me or Chris if you see this.

AE 6569

Should be motor plate spacers and plug for the stealth transmission. If you can't get it just order me a b3/t3 transmission case

b4wizard Offroad truck rules. We are trying to keep this class as a stock truck class. This way way anyone can be competitive.Put a good stock motor in it.esc of your choice. And be on the same page as everyone else. If you start changing all the parts to make it more than a stock truck. A person that keeps getting his butt stomped everytime he comes out will not be in the hobby for long. Now the rest is up to driving skills. It's simple we want new people we don't want to scare them away.Plus look at the money end of it.it is a affordable class .

Thats good. Anyone could get in with a RTR and be pretty close as long as they got decent batteries.
I'm glad someone is thinking about new racers.

hey slow car do i need to bring my dyno? or is yours up and running. and just so you know its a tool use to tune a motor. granted a monster is real gear sensitive. it doesnt mean you have to run what it says. and just because it shows low on tourque or rpm's that dont mean its a bad motor. granted the higher the numbers the bettter it is, some of my best runs have been on a motor that was 58 watts. ask tony, he can tell you that what im saying is true. and i hope ya still got room for me in the trailor. be up there round 10am.

b4wizard

Its best if you are building new, to go by the directions first.
Experiment with the camber links and the ball stud washers.
That seems to effect the car the most.

The Crete is this Saturday and the winner of the Nascar class will win a $25 gift certificate from Machobbies. I think the Track record 41/4:01 will be old news. The track is the Fastest it has been in a long time. We will be running touring, transmission and the f1's this weekend. If you can't race bring a chair and some drinks and see a great show.

Going to Meridian friday night to try and backup my last run.doughtful with a new car. But I can talk trash. B4 you better have your game on. oh you can have your juice after the races.haha.

See ya around 5:30.

TS I think it can be done. The 41 was with a very tight car. You need to come down when the Penc boys are here and we'll have a hell of a show. Like I said 41 want last. it will be 42 soon if not this weekend.

See ya'll at the Races

hell ts i went a 41 404 and didnt make the a main. and my car was pushin like a dump truck. 42 is way there and 43 is getting better everytime we run. just on the bull ring do you free it up and take a chance and get a little nudge and spin or leave it a lil tight to make it easy to drive. loose is fast dont get me wrong. ive ran 50 there in a 4 min run. (25 at each end of the race track) it also depends on where ya put the extra 2 1/4 oz of weight. and yes that what i had to add to be legal. wish i had an old 500 hyperdrive. see you around 2ish tony. gonna need a favor when i get there. i got to cut motors and need ya to help me on my car a lil. wont take ya 5 min to fix it 4 me. and i might let ya have the track record motor back.!

Hey Tony,
Did you ask CC why we didn't run. I'm setting here wondering that myself.
I mean 5 or 6 stock electric.
3 trucks.
3 monster trucks at one time.
Either way you look at it thats at least $100 the track could have took in.
Roughly.

I forgot it was grad. night for some schools around town.
Sorry you made the trip over to practice when you have a perfectly good track at home. Thanks for the juice.

steve- When I went 42 last year my car was loose coming off 4. Had to dirttrack it a few laps. I've got an old 0500 chassis...

streetstock22
05-22-2004, 08:22 AM
todd i tried to run mine like that, but just the slightest little bump i was around. just added 1 shim to the lr. and the reason i say a 500, its a sled anyways . and the best car ive ever owned was the 500. think u need to bring it to t-town. something tells me thats the track record car. something about that car, just it could be a little off but still be real fast. hurricane in mobile was the first time i ran the car. i bettered my best run by over a lap.
