McLake.Wuz Up.I hear ya on everybody elsewhere.Guess the best place to chat about breaking a record.Personally Fun first. But get that record if ya can.You know it goes way back in time when man and women In any sport The main objective was be the best you can be.if so and so jumped 28 ft in the olympics well try and beat that set a new record. And that stands in everything we do in life.always try to do better. If you didn't what a humm drum world this would be.Man goes in space is he satisfied, No gotta take it to another level.I hope R/C never quit's wanting to take it to another level. HAVE FUN.This is Paul Good Day!!!!!!!

Well put Slider. This hobby is awesome and has goals just like other sports & hobbies.
I'm not out there as much as most, but I do my best. Haven't beat no records,
but have 1st place gas truck trophy at home and two 3rd place gas truck ribbons
from Sippi. And I drive my heart out (with my RTR's) just like they got the best in
them every time. But probably the fun is the most important for me, you gotta have
a pocket book for them records! LOL!

The off road track is going to be nice. I have access to our back hoe and dump
trailer any time as I said earlier. But I've moved some of our red dirt around here
at the shop and it's got too much trash, still looking though. With the boss man
on vacation, I can't get away this week like I want to. Ya'll (Scott) keep me
updated when things are developing on the off road track and I'll see where our
back hoe and dump trailer is at that time.

If boss man is back Saturday, I'm coming Sunday to race.

Brent

Scott, check your pm

Mr Electric
10-07-2004, 10:03 AM
I don't think theres enough dirt to fool with yet. I hope to get some more out there next week, I'm thinking maybe next Sat. to start spreading it out. Unless we find a big truck there still won't be enough for the foundation, it should be enough to start a thin cover though. We have a couple offers of small tractors for spreading it, we just need more dirt.

Lets have a good turn out Sun. if the rain holds. Won't bother me on dirt though. Lake, you gonna break out that monster truck? Might have my Savage going if I have enough wheels.

mclake
10-07-2004, 05:36 PM
I might get the Savage out, I know that i will just a few hills but not sure if I will race her. We will just have to see, heck if it rains it will only help the track.

There is a $30 buy in money in Henderson with 75% payout next weekend. Does anyone from around here want to go Friday and practice and race Saturday? this weekend doesn't look good for nothing but laying in the bed.

Is Henderson dirt? :D

Slider
10-08-2004, 09:11 AM
Mr Electic. It is a Awsome 375' concrete tri-oval. and indoor facility has a carpet oval which can be made into onroad course. I have talked to em bout building a big dirt oval.so in the future that may happen. I will guarantee if it does it will be the best.Everything Tony Rush and Kent do is First Class.

Scott, Lake, (anyone), dropped a load of dirt at the track this evening. Just take
a look at it and tell me what ya'll think. I can probably get 5 or 6 more loads like
that if it'll work. Just depends on how trashy it gets.

Brent

It's the pile closest to the gate.
