mclake 08-22-2004, 07:14 PM I know Sanders, you missed a good night of racing. We had 9 trucks and had to have two heats. The track was hooking up. Team Mad Dog was on a tear with the TQ for Buggy and TQ and second qualifer in the truck.
Lake
Mr Electric 08-22-2004, 08:21 PM Not to mention you placing first in buggy and us with a one, two finish in truck!
mclake 08-22-2004, 08:24 PM Oh yea I did leave that out but Tony had already posted that, all I have to say is that you better bring it on the dirt because team mad dog is smoking
Mr Electric 08-22-2004, 09:01 PM Oh yeah, Paul, take your time bud and get well, come back when you can, be good to see ya
Slider 08-22-2004, 09:17 PM Mr Electric.Hey I appreciate The thought's.I guess I needed something else to conquer. But I will give it my best. Thanks Paul
B.A. Sanders 08-22-2004, 09:24 PM Sounds like you guys had a crowd. That's great the rain held off, I'd been
there but wanted to visit mom and pop. This new truck is just waiting to be
run. I'm going to try to go to sippi Friday. I need to get a race fix because
I'm going on vacation and will miss our next dirt weekend. May not be able
to race the electric but will run the gas.
I know that it's drag night. I just want the taste of dirt!
mclake 08-22-2004, 11:03 PM Sanders I understand. I will be at the drag unless anything else comes up. I understand about staying with the fokes.
Hey Paul hope that that knee gets better, are you going to have it worked on?
Slider 08-23-2004, 08:39 AM Mclake .Seeing another specialist Tuesday,so hopefully they will make up mind what to do. Ain't nothing quite like slinging dirt. Congrat's on the dirt slinging.
mclake 08-23-2004, 09:08 AM Thanks Slider, yea I think that im going to hang the crete up for a little while and just run dirt.
B.A. Sanders 08-23-2004, 07:05 PM Slider, good luck to ya tomorrow. Maybe they'll figure out something.
B.A. Sanders 08-23-2004, 07:08 PM Hey Lake, what kind of motors you guys normaly run on the dirt? 27 turn?
19 turn? And what is a modified motor?
mclake 08-23-2004, 09:14 PM Sanders we run 27 turn, most people run the trinity monster motor
B.A. Sanders 08-23-2004, 10:37 PM Thanks Lake, is that considered a stock motor?
I just looked at team trinity's web site, thanks.
b4wizard 08-23-2004, 11:43 PM Sanders,
All Stock motors are 27 turn, 24 degrees of timing. Most of the modified motors come with ball bearings and adjustable timing. Some of the cheaper ones still bushings, but all the good ones have bearings.
If you look at the endbells of a stock motor and a 19 turn, you can see the difference in the comm shaft. You can probally go to the hobby shop and they will show you the difference. Or if you order one from somewhere, make sure you don't get a Binary.....Not Legal
B.A. Sanders 08-24-2004, 07:10 PM Thanks Tommy. Thinking of coming Friday if weather holds out. May not be
able to run my xxxt because of it being rtr, I don't think there is a class for it.
I'll run my gas though.
mclake 08-24-2004, 07:26 PM Hey Sanders there a truck class but they mostly run brushless motors. Foshee and I are going to go run a off road track one weekend. Maybe you can hookup with us.
lake
B.A. Sanders 08-24-2004, 09:35 PM That sounds cool Lake. What track are you thinking of? Cullman has a good one,
I believe they run mostly gas, but I've heard of some electrics running also. I'm
going on vacation one week from Thursday and will be gone for a little over a week.
