With the way the rules are if they, touch and one spins, you loose points and get fined, and the way the #48 was blocking, yea he could do no better than 3rd, the FORD wasn't going to help. But they (DEI) have raised the bar.
B.A. Sanders 07-04-2004, 11:51 AM Happy 4TH of July to all!
1Starpower 07-04-2004, 12:21 PM Has anyone heard from Tony yet this morning. Wondering who recieved that can of whoop-a$$ and see if they had fun
rcracer84 07-04-2004, 12:50 PM There Is No Doubt They Raised The Bar. But The 48 Did For Gordon What Waltrup And Earnhardt Have Been Doin For The Past 2 Years.

b4wizard 07-04-2004, 05:08 PM There Is No Doubt They Raised The Bar. But The 48 Did For Gordon What Waltrup And Earnhardt Have Been Doin For The Past 2 Years.

Xtremercracing 07-04-2004, 08:38 PM Slider you gonna run "Ol Heavy"? I hope to make it out and race this buggy for the 1st time. Ran it around the track last time I was there and it did okay with the stock setup. Just too slow in the turns. I've done some adjusting on it so we'll see if it will go around the turns a little faster.
That was one heck of a pass by E. Jr.
mclake 07-04-2004, 10:29 PM BA you decide if you are going to go out there tomorrow?

B.A. Sanders 07-05-2004, 10:47 PM Mclake,
Had a great time today. Thanks for the parts, I guess the electric guys
have to keep the gas guys going!! lol!! You had that buggy screaming!!!
Next time you'll need to stay on my right side so I don't blow fuel all
over that pretty buggy!!! HA, HA!!!!
Gotjuice? 07-06-2004, 07:31 AM All I can say is WOW. We didn't hit the bed til after 3 every morning. Saturday was 3 qualifiers and it ended at 3:30 Sunday morning. The track was awsome with speed but hard to get a fast setup.
Chip won the 19 turn 0 degree B-main.
Steve got 4th in the B-main in super spec.
I got 8th in legends A-main and 3rd in the 19 turn 0 degree B-main.
I know we could have done better but with all the wrecks in some heats and running with the factory boys in others. It was hard to do good.
Tony
