uspancarchamps 05-01-2004, 01:04 PM Hey guys!
I am the head organizer for the US Pan Car Championships (scheduled for April 28-May 1 2005 in San Antonio Texas) and I was wondering if there would be any problem with someone posting (or passing out) my race flyer at your event. I am trying to reach out to all pan car racers (oval and road course) and make this a great first annual gathering. If it would be a problem, thats ok, and I will not bother you with the matter anymore.

MobileMikeV 05-10-2004, 05:19 PM do we absolutely have to compete in both races or can we do just one? My dad is getting married again on the 24th. :) and :( at the same time. I asked him if he could reschedule it but it was too late I guess. Missing a rac is torchure!
TEAMHAWHAW 05-13-2004, 11:26 AM No Mike you don't have to make both parts, congrats to your Dad :dude:

See you next week
Chad good job at manchester . the race would not of gone off if it wasn't for you.
Thanks
The Captain 05-17-2004, 04:44 AM yeah Thanks Chad.
RC5150 05-17-2004, 10:17 AM Good job Chad. I have the extension for your drill. I will give it to you Sunday.
Mayhem 05-18-2004, 07:03 PM Motor and brush rules of the week in advance please???? Section 5-65 of the latest ROAR rulebook covering 19T oval racing class clearly reads- "quad magnet setups are permitted" and "Any brush type is allowed". As most of us that would attent this race were forced to pay/join ROAR at the Nats last month, it would be nice to get some mileage out of it , and have a consistant set of rules to follow, the basis of any succesful track IMO. Arnie Fie won the Nats using P-94 brushes also, and many others including myself passed through tech with P-94's, so there is no doubt of thier legality. When are we going to get with the program?
MobileMikeV 05-18-2004, 08:22 PM I like the P-94s. They don't seem to be s bad on the comm, just light skim needed after every run, and the bushes you can actually use twice after they are cleaned up with some motor spray.
TEAMHAWHAW 05-20-2004, 01:37 PM For this series, I told you guys that P-94 brushes were not going to be used. This is this series rule. As for the ROAR part. Manchester does not follow the ROAR handbook. The track has the right to modify the rules. That is also written in the book.At the Nats, rules were changed. KSG cars were allowed clearance even if the button head screws hit, track change. Now I am not saying that all rules should be changed at the track, but series rules are set. We all live and die by rules. Summer series @ KN is another story. P-94 will be allowed to be used and the handbook will be followed. Also alot of the people just received their copy of the new 2004 handbook, not having the rules at their finger tips. Keeping the field fair. That is the goal.

bud3738 05-23-2004, 10:32 PM Had roughly 25 racing......I was amazed to see Nick D's KSG go from a flat track
to banked with all the shocks still on it..Maybe...you can get a 3 shock car to run at K/N...and run fast!!! Car looked awsome....
.
I learned that I have been on flat tracks for far too long...Was out to lunch a little,,,
felt weird not lifting in the turns......Car felt loose going in and push coming out..
all day......Started changing some stuff to the center shock....got a little better....at the end...headed in the right direction anyways...Thanks Charlie S for some advice...did help...Hope to be back......Gotta put my KSG back together...Rick

MobileMikeV 05-27-2004, 10:47 PM How about some 6-cell mod, you think I left a hole in the wall last time, I would be leaving a hole in the window in 6-cell! :freak:
Well, I am going to try to make it up next weekend, what time do you open on saturday? Something tells me I am going to be taking it a little easier since I will be running the "good" car.
