The miracle came true...There will be racing this Saturday at Pembroke....I just came back from cleaning all the silcone in the crack where the transponder wire goes and will be replacing the wire on Thursday after noon..So there again will be racing ....


MobleMike we couldn't put a boom across, when the track is 24 feet wide...

Looks like i will be able to get a ride up there Dennis, i will let you know for sure tommorrow.

Hey guys, just thought Id let you know that entries for the US Pan Car Championships will open up July 31. If you need a copy of the flyer just send an email to bjwilliams@liberty.edu. I will email it to you so you can print out copies and get it to pan car racers at your track (10th and 12th scale)

Don't worry, i will get plenty of sleep, i reset my body clock so instead of going to bed at 9 in the moring, that is when i will wake up! lol.I have actually just been sleeping with the blinds open so the sun wakes me up in the morning and i am tired at a normal time at night. If anybody has any problems sleeping, try that. lol

I will be heading to pembroke later on after I drop off my pc..Its time for a clean up,so I should be back on line tonight or tomorrow morning..

practice went well 4 all. mike found out the hard way how sensitive the throttle input needs 2 b. hope he makes back again. good job 2 all.

Yeah i also found out the hard way that one shouldn't run their perfectly built carpet car on an outdoor track. Ugh all the scratches on the bottom :drunk: And the dirt! oh my! haha

It really felt good today racing at Pembroke again...The next race is July 24th...

That should be enough time for those who couldn't make it this week..We will be making plans for a big race in the future,so stay tune..

That was fun yesterday, nice to be back at a track that can use all the modified power you can put in.

I just would like everyone to know that if you aren't in the position to buy cap tires to run at Pembroke, that I would add a class for form tires..We will run 19 turn class with form tires..I know that its going to be a short season.Some of us already have caps tires from previous years,so we need not to buy any.So think about it for the 24th of July..

Bud,thats ok because they qualified on Friday.The traffic isn't that bad on Saturday its only on Sunday..Thats why we are still racing on Saturday...

Sorry to let you all know that we will not be racing oval 10th scale this Saturday..A few guys have something to do..There would of only been a couple of us...But there will be racing on the 31th of July..Got e-mail from the guys up in the great white north that they will be making an apperence next week..Bud 3738,you could come up also..

that's right Dennis! I will be there on the 30th and will try to bring some guys from the local track also. I think that any R/C oval racer should experience Pembroke at least once in their lives. FAST track and tough to tame.

Bring forms they will work...Greens,Blues and if you can find a blue orange front that will be good also....We will be starting at 12 noon....It only takes Nick 2.5 hours to get there.You should beable to follow him...
