Then run it! I dont think anyone is taking favortism, just trying to keep everyone competitive. Try it, if you dont like it, then dont run any more, but give it a chance.

Can anyone name me ANY form of racing were the rules don't change over time? Coincidently right now I have two sets of ROAR apporved 1400 SCR batteries sitting on my work bench that I paided over $60 each for (in 1987 dollars). You would have to agree that with todays 3300s with their higher voltage and greater runtime my packs are useless. ROARS decision to include these "new" batteries cost me a lot of money. A LOT(!!!) of money if you consider all the 1400, 1700, 2000, 2400, 3000 and 3300s I've bought over the years. Now Trinity is advertising 3600!. NASCAR, FIA, ARCA, CART, IRL NAMBA, NMPRA... and especally ROAR all change the rules every year. NASCAR makes MAJOR changes on a week to week basis. I don't know how many different ways I can put this, the rules will not change unless it becomes clear that something has to be done to make it more fair for ALL racers.

I'm really kinda tired of talking about this. The rules are clear and if you can't live with them the solution is equally clear. If on the other hand it looks like something fun, get a truck and run it. We'd love to have you.

I will add this... If you want to kill the buggy class, make it a mod class. Then it would be very similar to E/G trucks and folks would have no reason to run it. The stock buggy formula is just about perfect right now. The ROAR rules have been stable (if not very costly) for a considerable period of time and it is some of the best racing we have. PLEASE do not screw with the buggy rules. Even though I don't run the class that often, it is clear to me that the combination of lighter, smaller, more nimble buggies with well established ROAR stock motors makes for some great racing. You can be 98% of the class leaders with very little effort with the last 2% just hard enough to gain to feel a since of accomplishment if you achieve it. Mod motors would turn buggies into the same crash fest as gas truck.

I do not control the buggy class rules. ROAR and Mr. Dickson do that. Nor do I enter the class that often so you can take the above for what it's worth. But if you want to kill the buggy class, mess with the rules... make it a mod class.

Adjust opinion to taste....

People should have told you: I've said we have Tommy to thank for making the LHS what it is today. When he look the store it was empty. No hooks. No display cases. No cash register. No credit card machine. No parts on the wall. No batteris. No place to get your R/C car fixed. No TP for the bathroom. NOTHING... and Tommy did all that. I've said that I don't fault Tommy for leaving. He had to do what is right for his family. I said I think Tommy is glad he's not at the hobby shop any more (you can set the record straight if I'm wrong). I know personally how hard it is to do this hobby for a living. I've said the hobby shop has come a long way since Tommy left but that was inevatable as the store grew and matured.

I NEVER said I was glad Tommy's not at the LHS amymore.

I went to the dirt track to check out some big cars, couldn't do both and when I went by the track the infield was very wet and if I came I know at some point my gas truck would have ended up there. So I'll be there next weekend, glad you guys had a good time. The racing out at the big track was great! See ya later

Hey just to bring something up diffrent. I'm probably going to order another factory engine for my MGT. The .26 and that .46 was barely going faster than me and I wasn't even running right. I was going to put a .28 on but I don't think that I can convert the roto start to work with the engine I'm looking at.

I want folks that are getting into it to see that you don't have to have an all out, moded truck in order to win. Although, I have totaly changed all of my electronics.

Hardcore has come out with some trick Ti parts I'd love to get.

No, I have never tried it. I think my problem has started since I put that new head on. I was going by temprature on how to adjust. But now I read where you adjust your setting's with the stock head on then use smaller or larger heads in order to keep the temp where you want it due to the out side temp changes
