has anyone raced here and if so what tires are recommended for trucks?i have a t4

I havent been there is a while but last time I was the track was ruinied, Tires might be different when they redo it, (if they havent already)

The off road track is totaly rebuilt,dirt and lay out! Ive been told it was a a good time to run it. Tires it depends on what your running. Let me know and ill steer you in the right direction.
The dirt oval is one of the best around and you wont get much better!
Just wish the off road track was bigger so 1/8th cars could run... Still waiting for a big local program :rolleyes: .

Mini pins work well on any thing thats hard packed,i ran hole shots on the old track. Is there is more surface dirt i would run losi ifmar pins. PL #92s work well for this also. For front i ran the edge or losi 8 ribs.

went there to practice today for an hour, anyone know how to get less push exiting a corner?

heavier rear shock oil,or a pinch less throttle. How does it jump and handle the rough sections is the question? Need more info...

it jumps pretty good, and i like the way it handles in the rough section,i have 30 wt all around.think i should try the green springs up front?

Hope that rain last night did'nt hurt the track too badly,I want to race MINI T's if anyones up for it....................

I can't make it Saturday Oldnewbie. Went up this morning and the track looks fine, I'll be there tomorrow morning as long as it doesn't rain.

Well me and Razoo were there but no one else playin,,,hell we even ran mini's on the oval with street meat and they went pretty well...bring on those mini T's and we'll do some oval racin also

Have a 3 1/2 month old baby girl and workin 6 days a week 3 - 11 pm. I have benn racing the mini on my own dirt track now that the nice weather is here.

I have got liposbut waiting for the mamba modified motor to come from bishop power products. she flys with 11 + volts and a speed 300.

Howdy Guys, down at our track, which is Dirtrunners in Oak Ridge N.J. we have been running Mini-T's on the oval which has a 341ft. centerline. Everyone thought they were going to be boring, but man they are a blast. We run 6 cells and Orion big block motors. We get 12 people to run on the oval every race but only 5 people to run them on our offroad track. You can get info about us at Dirtrunners.com. How far are you from Albany area? The off road track has lights and is now up and running so bring all your buggies,trucks and mini T's and have some fun ........Wednesday nights at 7pm
Track is twisty,turny with triples and doubles and mogels in it,loose/hard surface
track is also open for practice when the shop is open which is Monday,Tuesday,Friday from 10-5...Wednesday,Thursday from 10-8 and race nights the altered schedule for the shop is Monday from 10- ? and Wednesday from 10- ? for more info call 518-786-3622
