HEY – Panman it shore is go see a review again I have been missing them! Since I was not able to make it up last weekend.
How did you do in the stock limited if you ran that class? Or witch class did you run? I hate that I missed racing with you. I am planning on going back in about two weeks. Maybe I will see you up there again some time!

Panman I heard you had a great race at Jack, You and Jim had a great race, would have like to have been in the race with you two. That is why they started that class and there was been some good racing in that class!

Allen Stephens - What in the world are you talking about? I have never mentioned you in any of my posts. I have never discussed you with Jack. Your post is from left field as I have no idea what you're trying to say.

I have a good reputation on HobbyTalk and I refuse to lose that. Therefore, please note the following two things:

1) I will report your post as a bad post. Your remarks and language are totally uncalled for. Let the moderator make the decision about your future priviledges.

2) I expect an apology. You have publicly placed my reputation in question. I will not stand for that.

I simply stated that Jack's track is a fun place to race. My post has no remarks to harm anyone. You are way off base on this one.

And you wonder why I won't come to your track to race?

I'm waiting for my apology. I'm reporting the post once I submit this reply.

jsrocket13 - Thanks for the support. I really have no idea what this individual is trying to start. Jack's track and the racers are great for the hobby and I was just trying to tell everyone that it's a fun place to race. I'm not without my faults but I'm innocent in this one.

stesh - Thanks for the kind words. I did have fun and I'll tell you more. I don't have time to respond right now but I'll do a better job this evening.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words. Proterminator, jsrocket13, PrestoBoy, Stesh - I appreciate your support.

Allen - I'm not a perfect person. I've made a lot of mistakes and said a lot of things that I wished I wouldn't have said during my lifetime. I do try to learn from my mistakes, however. You took an absurd twist on something that I said about Jack and were offended. I wasn't even talking about you! The bottom line is - apology accepted. Just use your head next time before you type. If you have an issue with me, private message me. You know I'm not hard to get along with.

OK. One thing I hate on HobbyTalk is drama and soap operas. Let's move on to talking about racing and having fun! Enough of this junk. Let's drop it.

Alrighty, then. Let's see if I can get these replies in order.

stesh - sure did miss your smiling face on Saturday. You would have been right there with your Bomber. That class was a little rough that night but we still had fun. Jim Fulton had trouble driving because I heard him laughing the entire race! I'm sure you and your car would have been right up front.
The 4 cell limited (spec battery) class is great! You must use foams and the Trinity 4 cell pack. Everyone's speed is down because of the lower voltage but the racing is very close. Dale Rodgers and I swapped the lead two times per lap for about 5 laps! It was close, fun racing! You have to give that class a try. You'll really enjoy it. I was fortunate to win both the Bomber and 4 cell limited mains. The competition was tough, though!
The fast guys are simply that - FAST! Terry, Dusty, Steve, Shaun - they're all FLYING! 52 and 53 lap runs! They're too fast for this old man so I'll just stay out of their way. I hope to see you soon!

proterminator - I'm doing well, thank you. I hope you're doing fine. We really haven't spoken since the last race at Aaron's. Are you going to try Jack's sometime? Think about that 4 cell limited class. It's great! You don't have to buy caps - you can run all of your current stuff. Just grab a couple of Trinity spec packs and head on over. You'll love it! Let me know if you're going because I don't go every week. Perhaps we can get together.

PrestoBoy - good to hear from you. Have you been working all summer? Did you put your stuff in mothballs? I'm having fun at Jack's right now but remember that carpet season is only about 3 months away! I look forward to racing with you again in the fall.

jsrocket13 - I hope to meet you at Jack's some day. What class are you going to run? 4 cell stock with 3300 cells? 4 cell limited? If you have any questions, post them on here. I'm sure someone will help get you hooked up!

To everyone - remember to try Jack's sometime this year. You owe it to yourself to have a day of fun!

Kevin, look what your dealing with. :drunk:
As far as your reputation, don't sweet it. When it comes to ''SPORTSMANSHIP'' we can all take lessons from you.
Anyone who has raced with the PanMan knows your a class act. Can't wait till we race at Aarons again.

yes prestoboy what is he dealing with tell me mike presto.you always have to get in your 2 cents.

Kevin, I am hoping in the next few weeks to come down and visit Jack's once again- been there for practice (great time) and I am hoping to come and watch some G-R-E-A-T racing (that's fun too) in a few weeks. John @ You Know Where

well well well, it's been a while, hope everyone is doing fine, i've REALLY missed not being there, the reason for not coming is after 7 years of driving nearly 2 hours to race i have finally got to the point i am burned out from the drive, it was nice to race in Washington because it was ONLY 50 minutes, i will try to make it a time or 2 before the summer is over, a friend is opening a hobby shop with 2 tracks just south of Morgantown in Fairmont, about 5 minutes south from where the RaceZone shop and track used to be, a 40*100 dirt offroad outside, which is done and racing on saturday nights, and a 60*28 flat carpet inside, not quite done yet, and the best thing is it's only 25 minutes from my house !!! so hopefully come winter season some of you can come down, take care, Brad.

Another great day of racing at Jacks. Every class had real close racing. Stock truck had 5 truck that was dead even. The min T also had some good racing. And you have three difference classes to choose from to race a nascar or more. And Jack must be blessed because of all the bad weather for the year he has only been rain shorten one time so I don’t even check the weather any more. If I want to go racing I just pack up a go to the track and always have a great time racing.

Gene hope to see you again next weekend.

I was thinking about heading over to Jack's this weekend. I'm about 75% certain right now.

Anyone interested in running Bombers and 4 cell limited (spec cells)?

I hear that 4 cell stock changed over from caps to foams. Is this true?

When is Jack's last day of racing this season?

Thanks for any info.

Kevin

Hey Panman Good to hear from you.

I am thiking about going over to but I don't know about the weather. Two weeks ago we ran the heats and it rain out the mains. I might get brave and try to race at Friday and then go up to jack’s on Saturday, If I can endure the pain. I hurt my knee last time I was there!

About the 4 cell unlimited they are running foams, they said they are getting ready to run a big race up at Akron at classic's.

Have you heard any thing about Washington Mall track running this winter?

Jack usually races till the first of Oct. I think?

PanMan
08-18-2005, 03:18 PM
stesh - Thanks for the reply. I just looked at the weather and there's a 40% chance of thunderstorms. I'll have to check it again as time gets closer but 40% is too high of a risk for me to drive that distance. Sorry to hear about your knee. I hope everything works out for you on that topic.

I haven't heard anything about the Washington track. I know that Jim Fulton watches these threads, although I think he's happy being a silent spectator and probably won't comment on here. Jim may know what's going on right now. The last time I talked to Jim, they were trying to get Aaron to reopen it this fall. That sure would be great. I really enjoyed that track - and the folks that raced there! I guess time will tell.

I'm going to try to get down to Fairmont before they switch over for the fall. I'll post over on the Valley Raceway thread when I'm ready to travel.

Let's keep our eyes on the weather forecast for Saturday and see what Mother Nature has in store for the weekend! I hope to see you there if we can make it!

I like you 40% is high if it turns better I will go up sat. but I am like you that is a long way and a lot of gas with the prices up to go what far and not race.

Hope to see you around at a track some where sometime.
