Jorge is right, 6 races, 2 will be dropped at the end of the season to crown a champion. at the final race, we will have the points and a calculator on hand to add up the points and crown the winner.

Just a reminder that the Invitational qualifier at Trax 70 is on Sat Aug. 28th!

Trax 70 is one of the few tracks that can support a modified program and it should be a blast to cut a 7 or 8 turn loose on it!!!! PLUS it is one of the few tracks on the Invitational schedule that will allow you to become modified qualified!

Just wanted to fill everyone in on what's going on at Trax70. This Sunday Aug. 22, racing resumes on the high banks of Trax70:thumbsup: . Heats start at 12:00pm, this will be race 5 of the Sunday point series, only one more Sunday points race left after this one. Then on Saturday Aug. 28 is our Cooper's invitational qualifier race. This race will count towards the Saturday night point series as race 3. Heats will start at 1:00pm for this one. Being that ma nature has put a damper on a few of our Saturday night point series races we are working out a Saturday night where we will run either a double point night or a double A-main to make up for the week we're behind. Also, on another note, this just in from Patrick Enterprises:p , the carpet track and hobby shop will be open by November 1st. We'll be running oval and touring so keep posted for a schedule and get ready for some indoor racing at Trax70!!

Rocket told me at the last ORL race he was plannin on runnin too. We're Both going to run there saturday and then go out sunday to mechanicsburg and run the make up ORL race at Willow Mill.

Just wanted to thank everyone for coming out yesterday for our qualifier race. Was hoping for a better turnout but it was still a good day, and it was cool to see 4 cell mod run the track. Thanks to Steve "my car turns with only 2 wheels" Downs for the battery power that brought me from 5th to a 3rd place finish. Thanks go out to Patrick, Charlie and Dave for holding one of the qualifiers for the East Coast Paved Oval Invitational this year. The racers that ran Stock and Open Modified are now Qualified for the race.

My “luck” this weekend was no indication on who should have won the Mod race. LOL Steve Downs should have won hands down but his bad luck was my good.

You guys have a great place to race and I enjoy it every time I am there. Hope to see all of you at the Invitational on the 25th and 26th of September.

I just got in from the ORL race at the mill, was seein little green men on the last 45 minutes of the ride home so I'm off for a shower and some zzzz's.

This will be the last race on the concrete as we get ready for the indoor season. This will be a great time to clean out your RC warehouse and make a little extra cash before the indoor season and a great time to get some deals on some great pre-owned stuff. So bring out whatever you want oval, touring, off-road, nitro, batteries ect., if it has to do with RC and you want to sell, it bring it on out.:thumbsup:

Racing resumes this weekend on Sat & Sun. Sat the heats start at 5pm and Sun the heats start at 12. Sat is a double A-main for the top 8 qualifiers and Sun is the trophy presentation for the Sun points winners, I've been keeping an eye on the weather and right now it doesn't look good but keep your fingers crossed.

Here's the racing run down for the rest of the season. This weekend Trax70 is closed, the next race weekend will be Saturday October 2nd and Sunday October 3rd. The swap meet will be held on both days. I understand that DC Ultra posted after we did that they will be open for oval on the 3rd so that's why we decided to make the swap meet both days. Saturday heats will start at 2pm and this will count towards the Saturday point series. Being that this will be Trax70's last race weekend we are going to drop the last race and make it a best 4 out of 5 series for Saturday. Kidlock should have the top 15 drivers in the points posted soon. We have tried our best to fit the Saturday point series in and this is the only way we are going to be able to do it, so hope for good weather. I will have the trophies for the winners of both point series that weekend. Sunday heats will start at 12pm, and that will wrap-up the first season on the concrete for Trax70.
