The racing yesterday was awesome, the stock and 19t classes were fast and great to watch, and it looks the the 19t IROC class is gonna be a blast. And nitro oval was in the house too. Again, I would like to thank every racer for coming out yesterday and giving Trax70 a great opening day turnout (39 entries, awesome). And I would especially like to thank eveyone for their patience with the lap counter bugs. It seemed to get better as the day went on but we'll have those bugs zapped for the next race day.

That's right this Saturday night May 22 is the first night race. Start time is 5:30 so come on out check out the new lights and lets do some drafting!

The Hobby store will have cap tires for the touring cars by this weekend. Blues and Greens.

DC i am trying to get out of here first thing Friday Morning ..... Will practice on friday afternoon and race on Saturday Evening ...I f I have any cars still left maybe the MUSH bowl on Sunday ....No racing since losing Paulie , It will be good to see you for the weekend and hopefully alot of other racers on Saturday .......

Looks like a few people will not make it do to the ORL race the next morning. I most likely will not be coming out to Saturday night to play.

Can anyone tell me if there are any big races planned for the rest of the summer. There could be a group of us interested in coming down from the R.I. and Mass. area. Thanks Mike McDermott

The biggest race this summer is in 2 weeks, June 13th, the ORL, the best racers on the east coast come out for this event, and it is very competitive. We do plan on having another big event either end of july or early august, but no confirmed date yet, stay tuned to trax70.com for more.

It seems steady rain throughout the day may prevent racing on saturday night. A definate call will be made here ON THIS BOARD by 10am tommorrow to give you guys ample time to decide if you want to head out or not. If we do not race saturday night, next race at Trax70 will be June 13 ORL Race #5.

don't call it too early, you know what always happens....... as soon as races are called the skies almost always clear up ....

Me and Chucky hated having to be the decision makers this morning, but atleast now we feel relieved that we made the right call. Its 6:30pm and its been raining steadily for the past hour. Hated it for all the guys who wanted to race tonight, and for ourselves, hopefully we will be blessed with a beautiful day next sunday, for the ORL. See ya then :thumbsup:

They will be announcing the race date soon.

The ORL race #5 is THIS SUNDAY at Trax70 Superspeedway. All ORL classes will be run, AS WELL as IROC Touring series. Track opens at 9am, signups are from 9-11am, heats start at 12 noon. NO signups taken after 11am.

I just spoke with him and he will be at the track saturday afternoon preparing for Sunday. He would appreciate if all racers introduced themselves before racing.

Just wanted to let everyone know that at TRAX70 we have 10 practice clips located on the top of the frequency board. These clips are designed to have no more than 10 cars on the track at one time during practice. I know the track is capable of holding more, but we thought 10 would lessen the chance of an unwanted practrice wreck. You will need your frequency clip and a practice clip to get onto the track. TONS of updates, points series for saturday is up, second week points series for sunday is up. You may also note that the series has shrunk to a 6 week series instead of a 10 week series. This is because with the paul heitz race, the cooperstown race, and figuring in for rain, we cant be racing into late november or december. new photos are up as well.

Will the Cooper's invitational qualifier have mod as a class????

Sure hope the McLin Mafia can make it up there for that one. I haven't been there since it was Mega Track!!! So far it is looking pretty good. But you know how the "best laid plans" go.

You'll love it Lin, it's in the same layout as the old track, but it's so much smoother, and the transitions are no where near as bad as the original track.
