View Full Version : Schoolyard Concrete Oval
DWBryan 06-01-2004, 11:00 PM Yep there track is defently diferent, I took the BRP 1/18 scale that use to catch the concrete and launch 6 in high in the bumpes and got a smooth run.. turned a 7.78 with a stock. Still got 28 laps... had to do my own turn martial ing so on of my laps was a 18.?? and another a 11.?? and a 10.?? so the laps would have defently been broke also.. maybe next time I wont make the mistalkes. ;)
That class would be awsome also... a 10 car lineup. :) and is the most cost effective racing of all the classes. ( Cheep and FUN! )
But we would want to start them earlyer.. 1/18 at night would be hard to see.. or at least for me that is.. thick glasses but cant see. :(
Metal 06-02-2004, 12:30 AM Dave is right, the track has definately been improved! There were 3 if not more records broke this past Saturday in 3 different classes. I got a chance to run Dave's BRP and it was a blast. Not as easy as one might think it is. If we could get the BRP class going I would definately be buying a car.
Just finished up a new sprinter and hope to get some track time before Saturday. Should perform pretty good as it is setup just about like my Outlaw Super Late Gearbox car. Really wish we could get the gearbox class going again. If any of you need help on setting your cars up, please feel free to ask as I am always willing to help 110%.
See ya Saturday under the lights!
Brian
Krisfo 06-02-2004, 03:20 AM Hey Brian...you gots any of those associated buggy a-arms you could give me to try.....I think I can make them work on the DS......make it wide at all four corners, then it won't plow into the corners and be aas smooth as yours.....
Let me know.......I might be up there at the track later this week to do some painting......and stuff!!!!
By the way Dave, I have 2 gallons of white paint...and I'm eager to apply it to the scoring booth.........and the wall boards!!! Still working the boss at work for a gallon of yellow...and a gallon of black paint for the concrete in the corners!!!!!
kRIS
DWBryan 06-03-2004, 12:38 AM Cool ;)
Sounds like a winner.
Krisfo 06-03-2004, 01:28 AM Hey Dave...
How is the nitro project coming along??? Also in your box of old parts....you have any a- arms from an associated RC10 Team Car????
Kris
Metal 06-03-2004, 06:33 AM I will bring the a- arms with me Saturday. Off to work gotta run!
P.S. Bring a paint brush!!!....lol
mcastor11 06-03-2004, 09:48 AM Dumb Question time.....
What tires would I need to run there? And If I made the trip, What class would I run my ELE Sprint in? I have a B-4 set up for oval now as well.
Any help?
Jason L 06-05-2004, 11:47 AM Mcastor11
On the B-4 i know the road hawgs by pro-line is a popular tire to use up there. for the buggies. use the 2.0 wide front rim from assc. with the road hawgs 3 fronts, and a road hawgs 1 for the rear.
Krisfo 06-06-2004, 02:52 AM Hey All!!!!!!!
I don't know about you guys....but don't we have the fastest oval in Indiana???? Congrats to Brad Fabin again for his awesome run with that touring car!! That thing is the fastest thing out there right now in all the classes we run......covering the 204 foot runline in 5.25 seconds.....and turning consisitent 5.4's and 5.5's again!!!!! Now in the Super Outlaw Oval Gearbox class...direct drive dominators....man those are booking around the raceway with caps now!!!! Hmmmm...and don't forget Winston Cup Pan car......if we get that class to take off...imagine 4 pan cars drafting around the raceway turning 5.25's ......and finishing the 4 minute run with the 4 cars turning 44 laps........hmmm one can only dream!!!
By the way JAy...your hands ever stop shaking??? LOL I'm still wired about our races tonight....that was pure fun!!!!!!!!!!
Well off to take the evil sprint car apart.......I might just drop the associated .15 in it and see what happens........see you all on wrench/track maintence night.....just let me know when I can slap the paint on the scoring booth......
Laterz.....off to bed.......for some zzzzzzzzzzzz :)
Kris

Congradulations to the new record breakers... this last saturday was a good time. ;)
Check my web site for more info.. www.rcspeedway.net and spread the word.
ovalrookie 06-06-2004, 09:17 AM dave ...you need to change the mod touring record to 43 and the single lap record to i think i turned a 5.44...
DWBryan 06-07-2004, 01:47 AM Yep you sure did, thanks for reminding me.... I was so tired when I was updating tghe site I decided to do the rest... after a rest. :) Congradulations ;)
DWBryan 06-08-2004, 01:17 AM On my main site I have posted the policy for the turn marshal issue we had last saturday.
Basicly from now on when a driver that has raced his/her race and dont turn marshal for the next group and didnt get a sub to do it... they will get thier own car for the next race they are in... NO one is to marshal that drivers car, and I dont care who it is! A driver will race and then marshal for the next group racing or get somone else to do it for them period.
Failure to do that and the violating driver will have NO marshal for thier car/truck.. they must do thier own by themselfs!
Hmmm now lets see... what else can I rant on, ??? well no other problem exists as far as I know. :)
alexaj46 06-08-2004, 03:01 PM Dave, I think you need to rethink your position on the turn marshall issue. By not marshalling a car you put other drivers at risk. Thus penalizing good drivers. If this problem is with certain people, they need to be ask to leave. What i've seen that works best is peer pressure, that way the track operators don't take the heat for this problems.. good luck up there.... Jim..
squeeker138 06-08-2004, 04:38 PM Hay there Everyone,
It looks like that I'm not going to be able to race for the next couple of weeks. I was told/asked to go to 2nd for the next couple of weeks.Going to try to get out of it for this week. Then on the 19th a friends bachelor party, the following week is the wedding.
Dave, something on the elec. truck class beings that I feel that it is a beginner class and with the others running a stock motor I shall also. I started to race that class so that I could get my diving skills better. I don't want to lap to others. I want the compition I want the traffic so that we can work through it.
Pat
jimjoni 06-08-2004, 06:24 PM Sorry for leaving saturday night i was pretty upset about a few things. But that not was fear to other drivers after me, so iwill pay the price and turn marshall my own car, there just a few rules that should be added to make things run fairly. jim angola
DWBryan 06-09-2004, 10:22 PM Well guys I can agree with all I have just read reguarding the marshal issue... and Jim A. has the answer, its the one I have been trying to drive home here for awhile... peers rather than making me the screemer.
This issue has been a problem since I opened the place in 2000... and as far as I know my track is the ONLY ONE that has this as a continueous problem... Ele dont want to marshal nitro nad via verse,,,, and others send in small children into the arena because they feel the need to do somthing with thire RC.
We have to get it together and work together or it WILL fall apart and no one will get anyting out of what this place can have to offer.
With a bit of cooperation the night can pass smoothly and effecently with everyone having a fun and good time, that will increse the numbers of drivers thus increasing the potential for YOU the driver to get more out of this sport and a return on you investment. I have told others before... I didnt build this place to get rich... a small income would be nice but Im getting a reg JOB to get my personal bills paid... it is quite possable for you the driver to get more than your name on the web site and trohpys... wouldnt it be nice to win a poit series and get to go to the shop and pick out a new kit, or recieve a check... we started that way and it can be that way again providing there is NO fights and personal conflicts over manoosha.
As far as the beginer class thing... it didnt work well last time.. so by providing the track as open FREE practice 5 days a week a driver can quickly learn to hold his own... and I have even let them run on the week ends for free as well... if no one practices and just jumps in the arena they get more discouraged and others get upset with them due to thier lack of skill.
I really have no problem with haveing a stock class.. its just no one wants to teck every weekend and every RC... I just dont have the time to do it and run the show.
So by making the motor limit 10T it opens the possabilities of building a fast RC as long as it can last the 4 min and the driver can handle it... if they cant all they have to do is use a lesser motor untill they get a setup they can get the laps with.
It was a idea I had... perhaps a bad one but untill its been tryed we will never know.
So often I see blazing rc's / fastest lap time setups loose the race to the slower more controllable RC that gets the LAPS. ;)
Metal 06-09-2004, 11:13 PM I definately agree on the "peers enforce the turn marshall rule". I feel we need to have the beginers class so racers can have a place to get their cars setup. For some reason we have a few guys who think its ok to come out on a race night and try to setup their ill handling cars/trucks. Its not fair to those who put the time in through the week and get their cars dialed in to come out on a Saturdaynight and get destroyed 2 out of 4 races.
A perfect example of how a race should go is last Saturday A-main super outlaw nitro truck class. Brad and Rob were nose and tail for most of the race. It was some of the best racing I have seen at the Schoolyard.
Krisfo 06-10-2004, 03:16 AM On the turn marshalling issue.....I agree with everyone's points and concerns......I think we outta adopt the rule if you don't turn marshal 1 lap deduction for first offense....2nd offense automatic disqualification of run AND NO POINTS AWARDED..3rd offense during the night........YOUR OUTTA HERE FOR A SERIES....and you forfeit all points accumalated throughout the series....
now onto the fun stuff....Brian I think I fixed the evil sprinter...I took it all apart cleaned every square inch of it.....looks nice, we will see how long it looks nice......replaced the tank, cleaned the carb, sealed the pressure fitting, and sealed the back plate and the neck of the carb......I literally beat the crap out of it to get it hot and richened it up for the heat and humity and it didn't die out or run like poo!!!!!!!!!!!
And how about that race with Kevin and Jay on Sat. Night....two dominators running mods versus a puny little pan car.....that was fun freight trainning around the speedway nose to tail.......
Can't wait to hit the track Saturday.......Sarah is coming to race, we worked on her car to get it like mine tonight......so we will see if drafting is possible.......LOL (Actually I think Jay and Kevin would say.....YEPPERS IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!) LOL :)
C-yas Saturday
Kris F.
alexaj46 06-11-2004, 07:59 AM Kris, the problem with your suggestion is that if one of the four racers breaks, and than take the one lap deduction , now you stuck looking for a forth marshall. Warnings only good for people who are late getting out there to marshall. You have to play hardball with these people because what you end up with is a drive stand full of piss off drivers waiting on someone to marshall...
Jim..
Krisfo 06-12-2004, 04:00 AM hey dude...
So what about the fourth guy breaking out...he need sto get off his butt and turn marshal too.......and if he doesn't ...automatic 1 lap deduction from his best run..........That is the rule at Fort Wayne, rule at Pete Russell R/C Raceway.....and the rule at the Velodrome (option) if a problem is persistent enough and needs to be dealt with accordingly.........so why should " Littl Darlington" be any different!
Just my two cents worth.........
So when you coming up Jim???? Gotta get you back up here to race either 4 cell pan or 6 cell pan.......
Kris
alexaj46 06-12-2004, 09:44 AM Kris the only way i see the 1 lap rule working is for turn marshalls who always get to there spot late, in other words always holding up the next race. The other thing you have to look at is how effective it is. Most of the time it will only vary the driver start position. CYA at the velo !!!!!!!
DWBryan 06-13-2004, 03:26 AM Well maybe it wont be a problem any more... a few have heard of this posting and know we are getting seroius about it being a problem in the past... Soooo I think they are going to be more coopertive now. time will tell or I will tell em about it.
Can ya believe Ovalrookie borowed one of my ol rental BRP cars and broke MY RECORD!!!! talk about LUCK! ;) Ohh well I'll just have to win it back... Guess where that motor is now. ;)
jimjoni 06-13-2004, 10:00 AM it seems like the turn marshall issue will be better now , other thing is what about the radio problem and nitro cars running in the pit while some one is racing is there any thing we can do about this.
Krisfo 06-13-2004, 12:01 PM Ya it is called a RADIO IMPOUND!
I and a few other don't really appreciate running full bore down the backstretch and going into the wall head on at full tilt.......that is why I threw my car last night........it wasn't anything Deel did.........some other racer had a radio in the pits that has a bad filter or a bad rf module that is off frequency on and it sent it to the wall......
Racers I assure you we will not have a problem for the Trophy run I am planning on hosting at the 'Yard......
There will be a drivers meeting before we start........there will be a radio impound....the trun marshalling rules I suggested will be enforced.........and everyone has fun and takes home some cool stuff!!!!!!!!!!
Kris
DWBryan 06-13-2004, 11:35 PM Well as far as the Nitro's running during a race of the electro's.. you mean the noise?
Myself and several others dont need the radio on to tune the engine in... Most as far I know dont use the radio.. they are just tuning the carb.
If the sound of it is a problem we can talk to the nitro drivers about it... the can do it in between runs just as well... I know I can.
DWBryan 06-13-2004, 11:45 PM Radio impound is a option I have brought up before, I hate to treat folks as children because I know they can listen to the words (my quote) " Remember drivers ALL radios are to remain off during a race, VIOLATORS will have thier radio impounded!"
When we KNOW there is a driver that cant keep it off I can and WILL take it away just like as from a child... BUT I NEED to know if that IS the problem... some drivers cant get into thier head THEY THEMSELFS have a radio problem.
Example just this last saturday my BRP had 27mhz yellow (ch 4) and for no aperant reason it would get a mind of its own in the middle of the 1-2... after everyone left and I was alone I had NO problem... then tested it with another driver using a radio on 27mhz ch 1 (brown) and no other radios where areound and my problem was back.
I changed my reciever and now I have no problems at all.
WE NEED to know that somone's radio is causing a problem or turned on during a race and I WILL SOLVE that problem... untill then CHECK your own stuff 1st... and that is not pointed at ANY 1 driver but implys to ALL DRIVERS.
DWBryan 06-14-2004, 12:09 AM I have thought of another example.. a driver would get a random glitch in difernt places on the track... I showed him to wrap his reciever with light foam to get rid of the vibration his nitro produced against the reciever... and after he did that all problem where solved.
Another time one driver didnt know that his FM could interfere with a AM radio.. he thought it would be safe to trun his on knowing his was the only FM here at the time... he was caught by another driver turning it on during a race and we showed him how AM and FM could cause a conflict with one to another... now I know that driver knows the rule and the diferance.
1 other had the reciever chrystol in the transmitter and via verse, he had glitches untill they where switched back.. its a easy thing to overlook if you are ina hurry.
I have found most often here its not a driver having his radio on as much as its has been a equipment problem with the 1 who yells someone keep truning on thier radio when Im racing. When somone makes that call, I anounce turn em off and I have others watching out there and looking for the driver causing a problem.
And HONESTLY a good 98% of the time there is no radio on or even in anyones hands or I WOULD be told and thus the violators will get thier last warning.. the next time they BUY the broken parts of person they took out and I TAKE the radio untill I give it back for that driver to race... its a easy and effective way to handle it... it has been working that way well for a couple of years now.. and I only had to take 1 guys/kids radio 1 time since I opened in 2000.
Krisfo 06-14-2004, 03:23 AM Dave I understand your points...but herre is the kicker....
The radio and reviever I had in the sprinter when it went right to the wall and broke was just sent in for repair from Futaba.......I sent it back and everything was okay so I put it in the car and still had a problem......sometimes when another radio is on or out of tune........it causes scatter acorss the band and any transmitter within 4 channels up or 4 channels down gets glitched.........
I think I know which driver you were referring to...and I tried to express to him the problems I had at the velo....after the velo we found after sending the radio servos and recievers I use with the 3PJS that the radio had a bad filter, and a bad module...and the reciever had the samething. I was explaining to him that since his radio was new (Less than a year) he could have it fixed for free...... Whether or not he does it is his own fault.......I personally think if you wanna use the radio in the pits check with the race director and see if the radio that needs to be used WILL NOT cause any harm to anyone.......if it does wait till that person running is done.........
How's about using the frequency clips??????
Don't mean to vent or tick anyone off......just trying to better things!!!!!!!
And Dave I checked the site......if the run we did saturday counts towards anything.....the winston pan record is a 43......it was a 42........almost got 44........maybe next time......
Kris
DWBryan 06-15-2004, 12:24 AM Yep it counts, as long as its with the transponders it can count any day and time... I missed that one... I keep EVERY race result for just such a ocasion... its hard to catch em all.. but the drivers keep me strait and thats a help. ;)
As far and the radio's in the pits... my rule is no radio is to used in the pits during a race... I dont care if they have a 72mhz airplane setup... just no radio's on in the pits during a race.
Wehn drivers get here in enough time to hotlap/practice.. they can get together to run together to solve any radio spatter or channel conflicts... its best to find it early enough to do somthing about it... testing is the answer.. all else is just speculations.
DWBryan 06-15-2004, 12:27 AM The 1/18th class is getting BIGGER... 2 more just joined in... I talked to somone about some rubber tires for the BRP... (MOD Class) they would not be legal for stock.
But just MAYBE we can hold the BIG BLOCKS on the track with em. :P
jimjoni 06-15-2004, 06:17 PM i bought a xray m18 dave , you better dig out your shovel body and you know what i mean.
wazzer 06-15-2004, 07:11 PM DW,
Any word on the date for the 1/18 scale Indiana State Concrete Oval race? I'm about an hour and a half away and been meaning to get out to the track with my BRP some day. Are Saturdays the best for 1/18 scale?
DWBryan 06-15-2004, 11:17 PM We have considered starting earlyer for 1/18th scale, but so far its 5pm on saturday... there is a couple that want to start a sunday event but ??? tryed it before and it fell through, however I'd consider racing 7 days a week. hehehe this is a fun sport!
Saturday under the lights is the most popular time startng at 5, I have asked some of the classes if they would consider starting at 3pm and there would be a overlap of classes... the 1st set of classes would be 1/2 way through when the 2nd set would be on round 2 of 4.
We have a place to camp, bring a tent, camper, motorhome, or backseat... we can provide.
Most of the time I can have it done at 10pm when we start at 5pm sharp... that is when there is 7-8 clases of RC's racing.
The record here was 58 drivers a couple of years ago and it took untill 12:30 - 1am to get em through.. but that was with intermissions and waiting for drivers & turn marshals.
Now I only alow 5 min between races and when there is more than 20 I dont put in a intermission between rounds but do before the Feature/Main.
With that running smooth we can be done in less than 4 hrs without pushing drivers through... the 20 drivers is a example of 6 classes- racing 4 min with 5 min between heats.. add a min to round it at 10 min per class... for the 6 classes X 10 min is hour per round.. 4 races total per driver =4hrs for every one to get 3 heats and a feature.
More classes take the additional 10min per class per race. I try to provide a 15 min intermission before the feature where drivers can take a lap or 10 to get em ready for the final race of the eve.
You can see by the points status of what has been racing here on our site www.rcspeedway.net (http://www.rcspeedway.net/) and also a description of what is legal for the class's.
The Championship race will most likely be in early Sept... BUT come on over and get aquanted with us and the track... the 1/18th scale is the most cost effecient.. (CHEEPEST) class to race.. Entery fee's per driver - Per RC is a flat $5 bucks.. the champ race is $10.
All other classes is 10 for the 1st and 5 for each other RC or driver (father & son)
(hint) put green on the front and orange on the rear. If you have a funones the tip still works except I dont think there ia green compound.. so soften em with WD40
The orange is the hardest but gets the best grip with no real noticable wear.. if they are on the front it causes the front to get too must bite and spins out easy.
Hmmmm a X-ray huh... BRING IT ON BIG BOY!!! ohhh and I dont run that GP body anymore.. tooo hard to get every ting packed in to shovel up the competition. :)
But my DaBug can BITE!!!!!!!! Hmm how much head start do ya need? ;)
DWBryan 06-15-2004, 11:25 PM Im going to try a experiment for the Big Block mods... I think it will work.
Im going to chuck up a Funones foamy in my tire truer and cut a slot in each edge and glue on a Street tread tire that is for the Mini-T.. I guesd they have a rather low profile that is closer to the right size and the rubber is said to stick well.
I'll keep ya posted on the results... I tryed bicycle intertube and it just isnt the answer to smoother laps... I passed a nitro GT+ in the straitaway and crashed and burned in the curve. I REALLY wish there was a BSR type cap (red) that could be used so we have to impra vise <--- nver kood spell goot.
( ERROR: Too many fingers on the keyboard )
Metal 06-16-2004, 12:08 AM How close are 1/12th scale tires? I believe BSR has those. Not sure if they would mount up or not.
Well I picked up a Factory Team NTC3 with a Mugen MT-12. After getting the opporntunity to drive the fastest car at the schoolyard (Thank you Brad for the bug) I descided I had to have one. If the Mugen engine isn't enough I have a brand new Nova Mega SX-15 powerhouse to rocket the NTC3.
Gonna be a off week for this Saturday. Going on a little vacation :-). Wish you all good luck and hope the weather is good for racing.
Thanks Dave for all you do for us at the track. It is appreciated.
Brian
DWBryan 06-16-2004, 10:41 PM Well your welcome, :)
That NTC3 sounds like your gona set the super slab on FIRE!!! Good luck.
Krisfo 06-17-2004, 02:21 AM I knew he was gonna get one!!! Question is will he get a pancar and run with us????? LOL
Gonna be gone this weekend.........off to the velodrome to test new velodrome body from Gary MacAllister...I'll make sure and hit the turn 2 wall for eveyone at least once........
Hope the weather is good for all the fellas........see you next week.......
Dave.....KGF Motosports appreciates your persistence and dedication to the sport of radio controlled car racing!!!!!!!!!!
KRis
DWBryan 06-18-2004, 11:40 PM Looks like I may have the answer to using the mods in the BRP SC-18 FunOnes, Losi's Mini T rear and ? front tires... just have to re-work the wheels to fit... I slipped a pair of thier street treads on over the foamies and was able to hit FULL throdel!! But I didnt glue em so they swelled up (ballooned big) and hit the chassis and I crashed big time.
But I feel gettng the rims and tires I can modify em to fit the funones for Extra super speed.. Maybe even have a Indiana 1/18 mod championship also??
I'll keep ya posted.
We are going to have a couple more 1/18th drivers comming on the field.. looks like a A & B Main to me... time will tell.
Remember Drivers 1/18th scale racing is the low dollar racing.. only $5 per RC and $10 for the championship, Plus keep in mind it has been proven buying high dollar ESC is a waste of $... Big Ed C only has a duratrax spike $29 at tower and is as fast and any I have seen out there as well as the lowest ma batts are 1000ma and geting more than 5 min runtime. So if you spend a lot you can still LOSE.. this is not a money race where the guy with the most spent wins em all.
Driver Skills and well setup cars/trucks is the winning combo. ;)
DWBryan 06-19-2004, 02:34 AM Hay Wazzer, are ya still with us? ;)
Where are you located, and I was wondering if yu have the funones or sc-18 (small tires) each have a = chance.. I took on 2 funones today and laped em by 1.
But ovalrookie set the record with a funones reg ol rental I had.
Id love to get a mini cam in a RC out here.. bet its pretty cool to see what it looks like through the windshield of any oc the classes... I bet it would put a nascar cam to shame speed wise.. bet it looks like 500MPH ;)
wazzer 06-21-2004, 09:18 AM I'm still here. I live in s.w. michigan and usually run the Plymouth JAM's track in the winter. I have a stock SC-18, and a mod 1/18th sprint car. I'm going to try and make it out 7-10. That would be my next available Saturday. BRP has their Summer Series on 8-14 and 9-18, so if you could work the Indiana Champs around those dates, maybe some of us that frequent that series would be more inclined to make your Champ date.
DWBryan 06-22-2004, 12:29 AM Cool sounds like a winner... Sept/11 or 18th has been mentioned before and looks like one or the other will workout... I put it on the site that it would happen in Sept somtime and saturday is the best day for most... being a saturday that makes it on a regualr race day... but we can always start it earlyer than 5pm.. but for them that have to work that day want it no latter than 3:30pm so thay can get here in time for the at least 2nd heat.
We will take the total best run laps from 2 of the 3 heats and the top 10 will go for the tital.
Krisfo 06-22-2004, 11:47 PM We will take the total best run laps from 2 of the 3 heats and the top 10 will go for the tital.
Hey Dave......Umm why take the total of the 2 best qualifiers and put them in the A-Main to do battle for the title.....any typical championship race format is the best run out of three qualifiers qualifies you for the a-main.......check your format rules for a state level race via either the ROAR handbook or NORCCA handbook!!! A race format that everyone is familiar with works da best man!!!!!!!!!
Kris
Hey guys, we're having a race on a 375' banked asphalt oval this Saturday in Lansing, MI. This is a really awesome track. Theres mostly oval pan cars ( when I say mostly, that means like 8 of us). I know you guys race on Saturday also, but we really need some support for this race to get it going. So bring out your touringcars, sprintcars, trucks, pancars, anything. It only takes 3 to make a class. I have track pictures, if anyone wants them email me.
Thats Saturday the 26th at Funtyme Adventure Park in Grand Ledge, MI. Practice at 9 am, Racing at 1 pm. It's near where I-96 and M-43 cross.
Hope to see you there.

Yeah it means bring nitro. The more the better. I've been trying to make it to your track, but everytime I have been able to go it rains. I'll call you.

KrisWe'll have amb scoring with personal trxponders for the race. Rollout for 4 cell 19 turn is about 2.55, Setups are pretty standard banked track stuff. Foams or caps (I'm running caps). We have a thread - Paved Oval racing sponsored by Hobby Hub. Oh, and I doubt we'll have trophies.
Let me know about the race in July - I'll see what I can do. You have my email.
DWBryan 06-24-2004, 11:23 PM I know what the reg format of championship races are... Im doing it diferent for this 1st time race here. by the reg rules if your late and miss a heat your out, if you have a bad run in a heat, your out.
Im making it a better chance for all who run the race plus I dont expect there will be 200 drivers going for the tital, probably less than 40.
