The format and which results. Bob Wrights Car (http://triclone.net/post/bobwright.jpg)-----Pitstop (http://triclone.net/post/bwchevy16pitstop.jpg) triclone-dave 05-03-2005, 01:33 PM Great Chuck we hope you could some of the races. Bob Wright 05-06-2005, 09:23 AM No practice for me this weekend. My new kits are not here yet and I've already sold off all my old cars.I'll be stopping down on Saturday for a little bit to smoke and joke though. Bob Wright 05-07-2005, 05:56 PM Shadow sorry I missed those links. They are really cool I'm going to use them for my desktop at work.Thanks. cupdriver 05-07-2005, 10:44 PM "I should use a number 3 piston in center shock because it it was slaming the rear end down an was not smooth and floating." I can't ask him what I should do now because I had a number 3 in the center shock already and won't see him to next week. Should I put a softer spring in. burbs 05-07-2005, 11:36 PM bob.. #3 is the one to use... either a green or silver spring.. i use 70 or 80 wt oil... some use 50 or 60... also a .062 fiberglas bias cut 45 degree slotted t plate as well.. if your t plate is to stiff it wont be as smooth.. hefty12 05-08-2005, 12:34 AM I have been running the center with a #3 piston with 80 WT oil. You said you were running 50 WT which isn't out of the ordinary. It is just whatever works best for you. Another thing to check is the amount of preload you have on the center spring. You pretty much run as much as you can until the car gets loose then back it off a little. I run an Associated silver spring in the center and a lot of people use the Associated green spring. In my opinion what the preload does is it keeps the car from squatting too much in the center of the corner and when it unloads it will gives the car more of a launch or spring off the corner. I will be back next week if the weather cooperates. Hopefully Hays "Midas" Jr. will be able to make it also. cupdriver 05-08-2005, 01:52 AM Thanks Will try somethngs tomorrow, this is as far as I got with your car. (http://triclone.net/post/corydodge.jpg) Barooose 05-09-2005, 01:24 PM Cup. One more thing to look at is the length of your center shock. I like to see 1/4" of droop to my pod. When you hold your car up the shock should be able to extend enough for the pod to hang down 1/4. Otherwise the rearend will get light when the car comes out of the corner. Oh yeah, I also run 80 wt Oil. I like what you've done with Cory's car. grif 05-10-2005, 11:42 PM BAROOOSE!! Where are you?? Barooose 05-11-2005, 01:24 PM Grif. It's okay big fella. Have fun this weekend boys. grif 05-11-2005, 09:59 PM It'll be hard to have some fun without Barooose!! Yea Right!! We'll have one less moving target on our hands. If I think of anything else, I will pass it along. How does that sound? L.O.L. Just kidding, now get to work on that car. cupdriver 06-07-2005, 01:23 PM Hey Bob, how about this idea?
